But when we suffer, if we think ‘this pain that I suffered shouldn’t be suffered by anyone and so

100 Famous Confucius Quotes
a. let me work to uplift those who have suffered this pain, inspire them to lead healthier life

b. let me find ways to stop others from suffering this pain by removing the cause of this pain.” Our Guruji replied.

I was confused here. Thankfully someone asked that question on my behalf “how can I find ways to stop others from suffering this pain? What is this about removing the cause?”

32 Best Confucius Quotes About Reality As Well As Experiences Of ...
***“One person’s son committed suicide as he got less marks in exam. Next day his wife committed suicide as she couldn’t live with the guilt of being a mother who couldn’t protect her son. She felt she wasn’t there for him when he needed her the most. Her guilt drove her to her decision. Seeing her mother dead when she came from college, her daughter committed suicide as she felt there would be no one to love her enough in this world. This man came home to find his world end!

Inspirational Quotes by Confucius | Spiritual Sayings and Words of ...
He performed the rituals and sat thinking on what went wrong. And that drove him to start an NGO in his family’s name and spread the message against suicide in the society. He left his job. He became instrumental in saving so many families. At the end of the day, he goes to an empty house. And occasionally he breaks down too – but lives to make death of his near and dear ones useful and meaningful. By living and spreading this message he works on his guilt too. He spreads their memories as inspiring stories to one and all. He keeps his family alive by keeping so many families alive!, so now tell me if this man can find POL in such a great pain of his life, can’t we from our life’s pain?” our Guru concluded. She was looking far ahead into the space now. We didn’t want to disturb her from her silence.

Questions addressed and point to be taken :
  • What attitude is required to convert our break down situations into break through situations?
  • If what we hear/see/read doesn't address our problem at hand or if it doesn't seem like a solution to our present problem we don't validate it or try to understand it even - many times!
  • If only we see every word that comes to us as 'our message' and start applying it in our life instead trying to use only those of 'useful' messages or messages that we are comfortable to hear/use, we would see that every single time we are given solution and shown the path to walk on in times of our confusion.
  • When we seek solutions and answers, we are given.
  • Because it doesn't show in the way we expect it to, we put it aside and then cry that 'I am not heard'.

On pain, abusers and moving on

On pain, abusers and moving on

There is a high possibility that each one of us meet people/situations that pain us, are abusive and break us down. The question is what are we doing about that.

There are two situations in such scenarios. One situation is when the issue happened in the long past and the other is one when we are dealing with it in present.

If the situation is one that happened in the long past, who is holding on to that? You or the other who was mean/abusive/bad to you? He had moved on. He is free of you after that act or say. Are you not the one holding on to him all these years in the name of pain and suffering? Why do you want to give power to him to hurt you even in his absence and after so many years too? Are you living for yourself or fighting against you on his behalf? Think about it!

Do we really need to hold on to the pain caused by someone and miss out on the love/affection bestowed on us by someone who likes/supports us now? And then say we are in pain and lack love in life? Ask yourself few questions that'll explain your stand/decisions/role in your life before breaking down again and again due to the act/incident/person in your past?

What happened in the past happened in the past.

The question is what are you doing now to collect yourself and celebrate life. Now the situation is not the same. Person is not there and yet....

YOU and ONLY YOU are the stumbling block in your life and happiness.

You chose suffering or happiness of today! That's your power. Are you using is to break you or liberate you.

“This statement that the situation shapes you into who you are applies to a person who undergoes suffering in his life situations. I never suffered my life-situations. So, there’s no way they could shape you up like me” she replied watering the plants. The way she held the sprinkler was so delicate yet so firm.

And I brought my awareness to our conversations and continued, “If the situations were not favourable, how come you never suffered? Then, what was the purpose of those situations in your life?”

“For many, situations create pain, problems, challenges that shape them into what they wish to be. Then, the path is good and can be lived again, because it’s the path that’s shaping who they are. For example, if you want to be the greatest warrior Arjuna, then you should be ready to wage wars as many as he did. He had to fight various demons, own family and even his Gurus. Because, he fought battles with equally strong warriors he went to be greatest of them all. In this case, these situations proved more than once that he is great archer; so that wise these ‘bad’ and ‘difficult’ situations are a necessity to prove his abilities.

But, for some, situations are an excuse to exhibit that they truly are! What they truly stand for! They don’t break down or suffer the situations, pains and problems of life. They just bring out the best in the person. But, the situations can be totally breaking others. Like vanavasam (going to the forest and living there for 14 years) in Rama’s case exhibited his real nature – his calm and composed self, his respect towards his father, his detachment towards the worldly possessions and power, his love to live every moment (expressed in his joyous existence in the forest). But, the same situation – imagine having to live that! Wanting to be great as Rama is everybody’s wish but to live like him – that calls for different attitude and perspective of life altogether!

So, if you admire someone then check which character of his or hers you like and desire to have that attitude! But never, I repeat, wish to be like someone! You are asking for trouble. Get it? You never may want to make the journey that the other person had made.” She replied tending the plants lovingly.

She was lost to the world when she was with the plants – more so her plant. I heard her talking to them often! Bizarre, I thought. But many things like this were never ‘normal’ as I observed. Maybe, that’s what makes her who she is! No point standing there to clear the next point that was troubling my senses. That has to wait for now, I knew that. I bid her goodbye and left for my home. And all through the way, I was munching at her words. There seemed to be more meaning than what I understood while she was explaining – felt. But, my bed at my place beckoned me to rest my senses and enjoy the sweet sleep! So, here I go to sleep while you wait for my next post….

Me, My Guru – On broken pots

Me, My Guru – On broken pots

Perfect Imperfection Quotes. QuotesGram

“But, how to water Mil or financial problems?” asked Vinay.

Sufi teacher, philosopher, and poet Rumi said, “The wound is the place where the Light enters you.”
“Work on them through sadhan and healing. Use various techniques as required to heal the situations. Also heal your emotions that rise with these situations. It can be anything like anger, depression, selfishness, fear or any other one. Just keep healing them. Periodically look at the way your emotions vary. Their intensity and frequency become less and less. And with that your confidence, peace of mind and state of well-being also spikes. Not only that your understanding will better. Now you think you understand. Over time your understanding will be right. It’ll happen in bits and pieces. So, healing has to be done again and again. And these flowers – say of peace, contentment, feeling of security, clarity of thought would bloom” she left having said this.

Left to ourselves we expressed our understanding, questions, doubts and clarified it among ourselves.

Wabi-Sabi: Finding Beauty in Imperfection | Your Happiness Quest
When the time to go home came, we got up half- heartedly. Sometimes, leaving her place became more painful than ever. We wished to hang around little longer than needed. But our lives and clocks gave us no option but to leave. And leave we did!

Today, we weren’t ashamed of our flaws. We weren’t angry with the ‘cracks’ in our lives. We were leaving with the eagerness to water right seeds with the ‘cracks’ in our lives – for once!

Which flowers bloomed in our paths – well, that was for time to tell. For now, we visualized, our paths laid with ‘beautiful flowers’.

Heard the theory of the "cracked pot" from Joyce Meyer......I so love this ! HE is my potter....I am the clay..… | Bible truth, Clay jar, Small group bible studies
Rahul said “I liked her answer to Vaishnav’s question “but, why does Reiki/God give these cracks at all in our lives? He can just make it easy for us by making our lives smoother. He must be a sadist to do so!”

“Yes” and she had replied “May be, these cracks are part of God’s divine play to let us work out our lives purpose. Maybe, that’s the way it was meant to be to make our ‘purpose of life’ so beautiful and purposeful in such an effortless way” replied someone.

And that stuck with each one of us as we closed ‘the gate’ behind us!

# cracked pot, leaking pot, flaws and painful situations in life, challenges of life, life, break down situations, you attract situations in life,

For those who want to know how the 'giver' makes a difference : Read the above given without fail

Time to ponder :

  • Are you making a ‘flaw in your life’ ‘centre of your existence’ or ‘are you making it an inspiration’ to bring purpose in your life? That decision decides which seeds you are watering.
  • क्या तुम अपने कमियों को अपने ज़िन्दगी का आधार बना रहे हो या फिर प्रेरणा स्तोत्र ? इस के जवाब पे तुम्हारा सुख-दुःख निर्भर करता है।
  • Is your faith strengthened or questioned? Look at the seeds you are watering.
Question time :
  • What are the cracks in your life?
  • Which seeds are you watering daily?
  • Watering the seeds happens by way of emotions, feelings, words and thoughts. So where are your thoughts today giving energy?
  • Was there a pain in your life that you turned into your strength?
  • Was there a strength in  your life that you converted into pain?

Same old, same old – Old wine in New bottle!

One way or the other when people are driving fast and going at high speed in their career, life or karma pushes them or puts them to rest on way or the other. When the going is fast and hectic, the person is all going out! When his work outside is quite a bit done (by way of magniture)**, then the Nature decides he (the person) needs a break to recoup and reassess his priorities in life and sends signals – which like most ‘wise ones’ he overlooks.

Some like Dilip saab learn the right lesson the first time. They know how to navigate the right way and direction, the right speed and with right state of mind in the material world. They realize and accept that it is stupid to go behind ephemeral*** things of the world by burning themselves. They realize that the ‘self’ is above all! So as they chase and experience the things of life, they keep ‘themselves’ above all!

The purpose of ‘road block’ being served it doesn’t come again and such people ride the train of success for a very long time in the right frame of mind – i.e., being happy and contended inspite of being successful (Read this sentence more number of times to understand it correctly!)

Others – well, they – they go from one pain to another!

 # slow down, outer world, healing self

** By the way it doesn’t apply to people doing just daily routine 9-7 jobs. Their speed is less than 40kmph so where would there be need to slow down further. We are talking about people who are high achievers or who are high performers ONLY. Your logic will make you apply this right example in wrong place. Beware!

Questions answered :

  • What is the purpose of breaks in life?
  • Why do people who are adamant have more break down situations than the flexible ones?
  • What is the purpose of life?

Points to be noticed and taken :
  • Break can be both forced by circumstances or the self claimed one (by one who is sensible enough to see the signs)
  • Lazy bones beware - Don't use this to express your laziness. Don't quote me to run away from your job or responsibilities saying 'you need a break'. Be honest! Laziness should be tackled by giving in to more work and taking more responsibilities.
  • You can learn the easy way or the hard way. Choice is yours. Easy way is one where you respect the flow of seasons in life. Easy way is when you develop patience and you learn to wait and heal. Hard way is when life gives you 'jolt' painful and compulsive enough to make you let go off your adamant nature and pick up being flexible.
  • A hiatus helps you to admire and value what we have.

Let's do some thinking :

I didn't write for few days. And ...... the feelings, questions and demands for writing - wow....
now my question is - what does this teach you or reflect?
When I ask for feed backs, sharing experiences, ask questions, then only couple of the regulars answer and others - you know are silent! (But we read maam, but don't like to type, don't want to type, don't find to read/type etc etc)
For not playing your part of reading daily or sharing your insight etc which hardly is for 5 mts max - you have all valid reasons and yet
yet you KNOW HOW THE OTHER PERSON IS SUPPOSED TO  act and how much to act.
Apply this in every aspect or atleast the aspect of life where there is some tension. Maybe, you are sure of how others should give and when, how much to give to you, but when it comes to playing your part in that relationship you are escaping with the excuses many times by way of blaming the other!
Take a pause and do some honest internal check. May be it's time we change the dynamics of our relationship by changing the way we demand from it and the way we function in it!

Me, My Guru - On being in sadhan!

Me, My Guru - On being in sadhan!

"Guruji, I am not regular in sadhan now as I am sick" said Preethi.

Look at the way she simply answered Preethi's excuse "more sick you are more you need to do healing......sickness is not an excuse not to do sadhan......it is an excuse to do sadhan. Do you go to Doctor after you get better or when you feel sick? Same way you are in 'healing therapy' because you are sick!"

I understood where we went wrong!

We found ways and excuses to be where we were and not get out of our painful situation and she always pushed us to get out of this 'stinking hole of self pity' and 'suffering'!

# on healing self, excuse to quit healing, suffering, pain, disease, breakdown situation, destiny and fate,

Questions answered and points to be understood:

  • Why some get healed faster and others don't?
  • How do use 'break down situations' usefully and productively?
  • Every situation is a break down situation or a break through situation depending upon the person who sees it and uses it accordingly
  • situation is neither good or bad - every person makes it so......

Me, my Guru – on healing servants, maids and helpers

Me, my Guru – on healing servants, maids and helpers

Life Quotes saying happiness is not the absence of problems ...

And today I thought my day would go waste! See, I also understood how to address my issues. But the solution was same for all. I had issues with my juniors, colleagues, higher ups, family, friends and even my boss. I always was frustrated and angry at them because of them. Now I could take one or two persons/issues at a time and start healing to be relieved of my pain.

Image Quotes
Even I am surprised that I didn’t ask “but why should I heal all of them maam? I am bored of healing. Don’t I have a life of my own? Where do I live it if I end up only healing others?”

20 Quotes From Jim Rohn Putting Success and Life Into Perspective
She had once given answer “You are NOT HEALING others. You are healing YOUR issues – thereby easing your life. You are able to live happily and you can live peacefully only when these issues/people are addressed. So what life would you live with your suffering if they are not healed? If, you have a dog, would you complain about wasting time in ‘potty training’ it? No! because you know if you don’t then you’ll end up cleaning its shit behind it for the rest of your life. So the little time used in training your dog is actually small investment in making your future less cumbersome. Similarly with these people or issues. Anything that irritates you, annoys you, angers you means you need to heal it for your life to go smoothly. “That time I walked out angrily. I didn’t understand her concern for me. I didn’t see the logic in the solution that she suggested to me. But today I did.

To solve a problem you have to recognize your share of ...

No wonder even after being with her since two decades we still had to ask her simple questions like how to deal with the maid issues………till the day we stop being adamant of wanting things our way we would suffer and be the cause of pain for others. Till the day we were stuck with our way of thinking we would hurt her inspite of all her efforts to make us come out of our suffering.

Till the day we understand, accepted that we need to heal our every fear, anger, desire, pain, hatred, expectations etc we would be creating world filled with these energies only!

Food for thought :

  • Life is not perfect
  • situation is real suffering is optional
  • Every change in life is either break down situation or a break through situation.
  • Our response makes it so!
  • If we are breaking down with every unwarranted small incident in our life then it could mean we are very weak from within.
  • Time to build up that strength - mental strength that will make every problem in life as a challenge that we are eager to face.
  • Our anger many times could be a result of our weakness which we are not aware of.
  • go within and check that strength meter!

Please Note: This article was written when it was assumed that the said actor committed suicide. It was later found that he was murdered. Still, the article holds good for the "suicidal tendencies, depressions and related mental problems". Whether he committed suicide or he was murdered doesn't make a difference in the way we need to look at 'emotions that drive us crazy'.
The news was used ONLY to put forth a point - not to point fingers at the actor. When we hardly know a person, how can we judge his actions?
But, we can look at our own emotions that are similar to his perceived self to correct them.!!!! And that exactly was done here!
