Sadhan for October 2025

Sadhan for October 2025

This month let the sadhan be a little different.

1.     Wear “green” dress at least 2-3 times per week.

2.     Do re-birth meditation with “sadness” at least 2 times a week.

3.     Do earth healing 2 times a week.

4.     Last month we cleaned the house. Any old article lying around in the house which is of no use to you – give away or sell it off. Take away at least one such item per week.

5.     Give away old and unused dresses to people who want it.

6.     Daily sit for 5 mts and list out things that worked out for you thanks to healings.

7.     You can also list out healings that happened or wishes fulfilled – big or small – just 5 mts a day. You can time it. If laziness takes over you, then you can even repeat the same miracle/desire fulfilled every single day. Just remember to thank Reiki or God after listing every wish fulfilled. “Thankyou REIKI OR GOD for fulfilling this wish of mine”

8.     Give minimum of three packets of food this month. Those who can’t cook, just give away a couple of fruits of your choice to the beggars/rag pickers.

9.     “You receive as much as you give”.

This is the month of receiving “Ma Lakshmi” in our lives. Let’s prepare enough to receive her. Give enough to receive enough!

Give heartily.

Disclaimer:

Later day, DO NOT COME TO ME AND GIVE ME THE BILL OF HOW MUCH YOU HAVE GIVEN IN CHARITY AND DEMAND RETURNS!

WEAR GREEN doesn't mean you take it as an excuse to go shopping like mad. you need not wear a new dress every day. You can wear the same green dress every time for the entire month.

Do not let manipulative nature take over you using sadhan as an excuse.

Men who don't wear green can have green around them in any form at least 2-3 times a week. Say, have a plant or cutting of a twig or plant in a vase in your hall/table.

You can have green cover on any item of your house/office.

Use your imagination. It is all about being surrounded by green colour, that's all!

May this deepavali light up your life and burn away your ignorance and stupidity!

The power of the Individual!

The power of the Individual!

“Truth, purity and unselfishness – wherever these are present, there is no power below or above the sun to crush the possessor thereof. Equipped with these, one individual can face the whole Universe in opposition.” –Swami Vivekananda.

So true!

Look at the lives of any great leader or person from the leaves of history. You will find proof enough to substantiate this truth.

Mahatma Gandhi, a puny little person dressed only in dhothi shook The Great Empire where the sun never sets! All with just non-violence! So many great wars were fought. So many people died and yet so many nations did not become free. And yet, this Great Nation fought for its freedom with NON-VIOLENCE. Everyone laughed at the idea. But, he believed our scriptures. He believed that being non-violent was more effective than being violent. He was proved right! All with the weapons of Truth, purity and unselfishness!

Mother Theresa, a puny unknown nun from Europe found herself in the dingy lanes of Calcutta. She did not have anyone to guide her. No one to seek help. Left to herself to attend to her belief and call of the Spirit! But, this woman was equipped with Truth, purity (of intent) and unselfishness. And lo, miracles happened one after the other. Lepers were attended. Charity work became a possibility. The sick and the homeless found hope and redemption in her work and through her work.

Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King, Baba Amte, Mirabai, you search and you will find dozen to the score – people who were just equipped with these stellar qualities and won the Nation on their side. Again and again – proved!

And yet, we need reasons to develop these qualities.

And yet, we seek power from others.

And yet, we think to fight is to be powerful.

The best thing about being “most powerful” is you start the war on your weakness. The war is within your area of operation – right within. And all through the day we can wage this war. No bloodshed. No money required. No one need know our failures.

Truth, purity and unselfishness! That’s all it takes to win every battle in this World, of this World!

Me My Guru – On Sadhan being “Sahaj” (effortless!)

Pointers to understand the post

Me My Guru – On Sadhan being “Sahaj” (effortless!)

"He fell in love with Sun-God. So, to express his love he used his worship Sun-God through “Sandhya”. " - Sadhan and rituals that we do can be a way to thank the Divine, Reiki or God. When done as a way to thank, show gratitude or affection for the Divine, then it reaps benefits beyond our imagination. It heals our karma like nothing! This is the way to do sadhan especially when we are afraid of facing the consequences of our karma.

Doing the sadhan in exchange for some material benefit is the most lowest form of worship that may give the object of our desire or its equivalent to us. But, since we had done the encashed the sadhan against the things of this World, there is no sadhan left to heal the karma (that we are afraid of facing in future when it comes back to bite us).

"Due to his power of worship, the Sun would not set until his worship was complete." - Sadhan done anyway is good. But, that which has no desire attached to it, which has the purity of intent, which is seeped in affection for the technique or the one for whom we are doing sadhan (like Reiki, Guru,God) then bhakthi gains "SHAKTHI". Our devotion gains power that normal people call as "miracles" and the bhaktha just nods his head and says "oh, yeah that happens" because for him that is the way of life!

Sadhan done to impress others or to inflate our ego keeps count of how much sadhan we do. It keeps count of all the money given in charity. It keeps count of how much we have shared with others, given to others, done for others.

But to experience love, we need to first stop keeping count of the same.

On understanding Karma in real-life situations Series

    Contd.....

On understanding Karma in real-life situations Series

m.     The good news is as wrong deeds come back in our life during “bad times”, our good deeds also come back – WITHOU FAIL in our life – for SURE!

n.     Good deeds include charity, selfless acts, being there for someone, helping someone, choosing right over pleasant, right life-style and habits, right attitude and character and above all sadhan.

o.     So don’t wait for “bad times” to come to do some “good actions” like charity, sadhan, etc.

Do as much as you can every single day of your life.

That way increase your credit of good deeds. This is the only way to run away from pain when you are afraid of facing the consequences of your past actions.

So you see we are not “shaming others” for their wrong deeds. How can we? We don’t have that right! We are not entitled to that power! We are just using their life situations as road maps and understanding to read and understand the “laws of the Universe” clearly.

We are raising our trust in the function of these Laws of the Universe.

That way we become smart players in playing the “The Game of the the life”!

Me, my guru – Karna receives what he gives!

Me, my guru – Karna receives what he gives!

Pointers to understand the post:

“But, as the day turned to night, Karna couldn’t overlook his hunger. So, he asked the Angel “Brother, you’ve been showing me around all the places. But, I am very hungry. Why don’t you give me something to eat?” – see how Karna addresses the Angel with loads of affection and respect. Just because he had earned a seat in heaven it didn’t go to his head.

Our post, position, money, achievements, contacts and so on shouldn’t make us arrogant. I find many go head strong with “I am a Reiki Master” statement. It is just a degree. Know that. Be that!

Same applies to everything else too!

Be humble. Don’t think we are entitled to anything in this or after life! No one gets respect by demanding. One earns it by his behavior and character. And humility is that attitude that gets you respect from others. Know this and develop that character.

““Because you’ve given various kinds of riches as charity in the World below (meaning on Earth). But you never gave food to anyone. So, you will not receive food. In the heaven, you receive 10 times of what you give on Earth. You can’t receive what you didn’t give!” the Angel said and left.” – So you see, not all our good karmas are encashed in this form and on Earth only. They are also encashed in our astral forms.

The impact of our karma and their workings go beyond one life time and human body!

“So you see you receive what you give in equal measure. That is the Law of Karma. You can’t redeem one act of yours with your desire as you please.” No body, absolutely nobody can redeem their one punya with their any desire. Do not get confused with being good and earning brownie points for doing good.

Me, my guru – Karna receives what he gives!

Me, my guru – Karna receives what he gives!

We stayed longer than needed. Discussed among ourselves. Worked on ourselves with a few techniques. We left tired and in pain. The journey was a long one. And it needed us to be on this path – regularly to overcome our pain and suffering.

We didn’t overcome our pain today. We’ll not in the next few weeks too. It was too deep to overcome in a few days time. And yet, we knew we had to come to our Guru's place again and again just so that we stick to this path and hold on to this sadhan. Yes, left to ourselves we would be going astray. We had seen it happen so many times before – both with ourselves and with others. We wanted to avoid that from happening this time.

This time as we closed the gate behind us, we knew this was the gate that would open the doors to peace and joy – one day!

For now, with a mind confused and heavy heart we left her place. Yet, there was a hope that was beyond reason in all of us. The hope that said that our Guru will take – nay lead us to the land of bliss where there was no pain or suffering – the land that she always talked about. It was not the land as promised by some of the prophets of other religions. No, our Guru was talking about our state of mind that we could live with – that which was everyone’s right!

We just had to keep going with our sadhan. Yes, we would falter. We would experience pain too in this process. But, this pain was worth it for the prize was worth it. the pain itself was the key to set us free from pain. What a wonderful thought!

What a wonderful state of existence!

read the link to see how karma from one birth impacts our other janma - not all that we reap in this life is the result of our present life actions.....

Questions addressed:

Why a person who has done so much charity suffers so much in life?

A person goes to the temple regularly, lots of pilgrimage faces so much of negativity in his life?

A person who has helped all didn’t receive any from others. So, what is the purpose of being good?

Me, my guru – Karna receives what he gives!

Karna was surprised. He asked “And why is it so?”

“Because you’ve given various kinds of riches as charity in the World below (meaning on Earth). But you never gave food to anyone. So, you will not receive food. In the heaven, you receive 10 times of what you give on Earth. You can’t receive what you didn’t give!” the Angel said and left.

So you see you receive what you give in equal measure. That is the Law of Karma. You can’t redeem one act of yours with your desire as you please.

If you go on a pilgrimage, it heals a certain kind of karma. The purpose of going on a pilgrimage is to drop our ego and walk towards God or the Truth!

You can’t encash the punya of going on the pilgrimage or doing some sadhan with better relationship with your near and dear ones.

You are connecting the wrong dots here!

YOU ARE ASSUMING WRONG! The Law of the Universe doesn’t cater to your demands, assumptions and expectations. Our pain and suffering are the result of these wrong attitudes.

By doing good to others we are cleansing our souls and karma. It aids us in becoming pure. Being pure is the pre-requisite to Realize Self. That’s all!
