Me, My Guru – On anger of Lord Shiva!

Me, My Guru – On anger of Lord Shiva!

“A parent who after having tried out all other options joins his son in a deaddiction centre and even may remove him from his will as an act of love. Like-wise, Lord Shiva gives us more than million chances to realize our errors, sins and acts of demeaning this life. When a stage comes where in a soul loses all chances of self-improvement or regret or repentance and also becomes threat to the people following “Dharma” without expecting anything in return and are in devotion inspite of hardships meted by such asuric people in their life, then Lord sees no other option but ‘absorbing such a person’ into Himself which is called as killing by us mortals for want of better words to describe that act filled with ‘Love and kindness’ of Lord. When a person dies a natural death then he has to be born again to reap the benefits – both good and bad of his karma. Since, this asuric character has no more ‘scope of any improvement’ his life is ended by absorbing him into Himself – the Lord Shiva! This is no anger but an act of Absolute and Ultimate Love! Now, please don’t quote this and say ‘Guruji, since XYZ can’t change and I am hurt beyond acceptance levels I want to kill him out of love. This is my ultimate expression of love for him’. Don’t use right example at wrong place. You can’t use Lord’s example to commit your acts of passion. Grow in stature in every way and then we’ll see! Now you carry envy, depression, jealousy, hatred and still want to use ‘this example’ to get away with your desire to commit an evil act? With these qualities still intact in self you want to compare yourself with the Lord?”

We all laughed. She was right. We used right examples at wrong places. We thought we were smart enough to fool others and project ourselves as ‘good person’ and her repeated explanation has made it clear that we were at the end only fooling ourselves. We were stupid to think that we were smart enough to fool others. I remember her one saying always “whatever you are proud of, that by itself becomes cause of your downfall!” So true! People who cheated others with their ‘smartness’ ended up messing their lives all thanks to their smartness. People who were proud of their power or money – that became tool of their downfall, pain and suffering. I could go on and on with any attitude but still people...
