Change the perspective lady!

 Contd........

Change the perspective lady!

Sometimes we will fall sick and on other days we are healthy.

Some days we receive people in life and on some days we lose some!

Healing cannot and won’t make a change in ‘change of seasons’!

But it will help us change our perspective for better! Because, it is the perception that decides whether we suffer or enjoy the ‘change of season’ every time!

And that is all we need in our life every time we suffer or are in pain!

So why not put reasoning to good use and change our perspective for better?

All this time, we have justified our emotions and validated our suffering and pain with reasoning. Today, let's put reasoning and logic to good use - to benefit us. Let us learn to use reasoning the right way. Instead of standing by our desires and our emotions, let's question our desires and emotions. Let's work towards desires if need be, but with the change in our way of working towards their fulfillment. Let’s make this small beginning. Let’s make this small change.

Let’s see where it leads us.

Just let’s do it!

Have your ever changed your perspective and found difference it brought about in your life?

Would there be any change in the state of mind because of change in the perspective?

Change!

On Change!

Image result for change of seasons quote

Are we comfortable with the known 'devil' than an unknown 'angel'?

'Devil' here meaning the known people (with attitudes we are not comfortable with), jobs that we are complaining about and the situations that make us look like 'poor things!'

'Angel' here means 'unknown yet but good or right people' whom we are not open to receiving in life!
-Job that we dream of getting or desire to work for or say we deserve
-situations that we wish were part of our 'poor sad lives'!?

Image result for change of seasons quotes Are we afraid of change?
If so why?
Are we imagining most of it or is it for real?
What is our 'fear' of change based on?

think, think about it!

Change of weather

Change of weather

Blessed are we for living in the land called “Bharat”. Wow! What a splendor of weather??!!

The weather is changing from winter to spring and just wow! (here in Hyderabad – India)

Morning dew is still alive…….morning breeze is still carrying mist, chillness and coziness in it and still – the summer has arrived. Not yet in full bloom, but in the late afternoons. Wow – what a mixture of seasons! It looks like “raag kadambam” – simply beautiful…

Just a while to sit in you balcony, stop on your terrace and look around……

Relish what this weather has to offer you……

Be with it – no agenda – no nothing – just savour it – enjoy!

Life is just this – a change so subtle, so beautiful, so sublime that it takes your breath away if you are aware of it.

Change the perspective lady!

 Contd........

Change the perspective lady!

Whenever it was sunny, she would cry thinking “oh my poor child! How will husband of my eldest daughter sell umbrellas enough now, since people would not buy umbrellas when it is not raining?” Thinking of her eldest daughter’s problems and lack of abundance, she would worry and cry the whole day!

When it rained, she would think “Oh, my poor second daughter! How will her husband go fishing now that it is raining? How will my daughter wade through these tough times?”

This way both on sunny and rainy days she would cry one way or the other. She came to be called the ‘Cry Lady’. She was mocked by her villagers. She felt insulted. She was hurt. She thought no one understood her. She lived a lonely life!

A monk came to this village called ‘Reason’. He saw her crying every single day! He felt bad for her. He asked her the reason for her pain and suffering. She gave her ‘valid reasons’ for crying. The monk saw her pain. He saw ‘the cause of her pain’ too! He knew the solution to her problem too!

He smiled and said “Dear lady, do not cry! From now on, you need cry no more. I’ve a technique that’ll help you to be happy and loved. You’ll find release from your suffering. You’ll have friends in your life. You’ll forget what it is to be lonely and sad!”

The old woman – mayya became interested on hearing his words. She sought his advice and pleaded him to teach ‘the technique’ to her. In reply monk gave her this technique “on sunny days, think of your younger daughter. Thank Sun-God for being ‘sunny’. These are the days her husband will go out into deep seas and catch lots of fish. The more fish he catches the more he will sell and more he sells more he makes money. Think of all the abundance in her life that ‘Sunny days’ would bring!

And on rainy days, thank ‘Rain God’ for it is because of Him that it is raining. And then think of how it is good for your elder daughter. Think of all the umbrellas your eldest son-in-law would be able to sell and make money! Think of all the abundance that could and would come into their lives. Be happy for your eldest daughter!” So saying, he left.

Mayya found this technique easy to follow. She did not use her reasoning to find flaws in the technique. She did not use her logic to 'understand' how the technique works or what benefits she would receive. She believed the monk and his words! She followed his advice to the T. and in very short time; she was found smiling and laughing the whole day! There was ‘thanks’ on her lips most part of the day! Very soon, she came to be called ‘smiling lady’. People found her expression pleasant. They found her smile soothing and warm. She had friends everywhere she went! She no longer was sad, she no longer knew pain. She no longer suffered!

Pointers in this post :

"This way both on sunny and rainy days she would cry one way or the other. She came to be called the ‘Cry Lady’. She was mocked by her villagers. She felt insulted. She was hurt. She thought no one understood her. She lived a lonely life! " - Look at this para and the one previous to this. Aren't we like this most of the time? Isn't our complaints so similar to 'mayya'? First we ask for a wish and cry till it is not fulfilled. And then complain saying if God/Reiki knew that I would be unhappy with this desire being fulfilled, why did it fulfill my wish in the first place? Either way, we ONLY COMPLAIN. Either way, we are sad, irritated, angry, demanding and seeking explanations from God/Reiki/Guru. Think about it!

"She did not use her reasoning to find flaws in the technique. She did not use her logic to 'understand' how the technique works or what benefits she would receive. She believed the monk and his words! " - Technique is not to get results that we seek. They can also just be something to change our perspective, attitude and cleanse us of our negativities like anger, lust, demanding nature, ingratitude, selfishness and greed etc. When a person is looking at the 'end result' then there is no change in his attitude and character and then he blames the technique. Then the right technique also doesn't give the right results. And the blame is on the technique. Remember, a drunken and angry driver meets with an accident in the best of vehicles too. Vehicle is not at fault. Remember, the technique is to sober you from a 'person who is drunk with anger, lust, adamant and selfish nature'. The sooner the person realises that the sooner is his healing.

Look at the last para. When her attitude changed, she found all her complaints gone. SHE was the cause of pain in her life. Not the people of her village! She was the cause of her suffering - not the seasons of nature.

How do you think this post would help you in any way to better your perspective and frame of mind?

Why do you think the village is called 'Reason'? What does it represent and why?

On cloudy days

Contd.....

On cloudy days

Even nature has ‘winter’ when nature goes to sleep. That period of hibernation makes it bounce back with ‘colourful spring’ soon after. Even trees shed their leaves before blooming!!!

Respect these periods of pauses in life. Work on your fear, doubt, tension and need to hurry to next station of life!

It is possible that few of you are going through a lull period of life. It can be any aspect of life – physically due to ailment may be you or your near one – don’t be discouraged. See this as a ‘forced vacation’ given by the Universe to you. I know boredom may bother you. So may be the financial tension. Trust Reiki. Do reiki and relax! Things will work out very soon – very well too!

Emotional – may be one or few of the relationships may be bothering you a lot. Be with it. Do the needed healing for the same. Also become aware of areas you need to heal within. Most of the relationships have these ups and downs period. If it is at the start, well and good. Make the necessary corrections and see the relationship go from bad to good to better to best…right now it may look not worth fighting back. But everyone who had such problem had only come back with ‘thank God, I kept healing and today I am so glad it worked out so good’. Few of you have already experienced that too! To others I say this will turn us into better human being for sure!

Stories and all! Two men in the bus-stop

 Contd....

Stories and all! Two men in the bus-stop

Option available is the way we use our wait and what energies we generate through the wait! The pain and suffering as one can see clearly is not in ‘bus coming or not coming’, but it is in the way we look at it! It is in the way ‘we are’!

Option is available to each one of us! Only the one with ‘right clarity of thought’ chooses wisely.

Wrong reasoning drives us nuts and creates hell for us! Know the difference! See the difference!

One boy had to just go home and sleep and yet he was agitated. He didn’t validate the abundance that life offered him. He had eyes only for his ‘bus’ meaning the fulfillment of his ‘condition’. The birds, breeze, being alive and healthy – nothing mattered to him. He was pain unto himself. He suffered ‘himself’!

The other boy was a cancer patient and yet he was alive! He wasn’t cursing all who were healthy. He wasn't envious or jealous of people who didn’t have cancer. He wasn’t questioning the ‘life’ or ‘Universe’ and calling it names for being unjust and choosing to give him cancer. He didn’t use his ‘LOGIC’ to use others as punch bag. He wasn’t vomiting his ‘facts of his life which were undesirable to him’ onto others. He was facing the facts of life as one faces the changing seasons of the year. He was alive! He was so because he wasn’t CONDITIONING THE LIFE and the events of life as per his convenience.

Situations of life are not deciding what we suffer. Expectations, conditions, attachments to our desire, being stubborn, having twisted way of thinking and calling it logic – these are some of the attitudes that if held by one can cause suffering and pain to not only that person but to people around him too!

Change of weather

Change of weather

In Hyderabad (of India) as is in every nook and corner of the world, there is change of weather happening. Couple of days it is hot summer feel and then it rains like never before. Weather is totally unpredictable. It is what it is. We take or leave it! The weather is not going to act to please us and make itself viable to our schedules and tastes.

So it is with life. It happens as it chooses to happen when we are planning other things. The pain is not as much about what is happening as it is about ‘how we expected it to happen’. Because we plan our lives and days, when it doesn’t go that way, we feel let down. We feel enraged. We are depressed. We are sad. We complain. We are angry. We feel cheated.

Think about it! Who promised us ever that ‘Life would be as we plan it’? No one…and yet we PRESUMED IT WOULD! And we are angry, frustrated, depressed that our ‘presumption’ didn’t work out right? Think about that! Sit and meditate on that. Don’t analyse, you wouldn’t get it. Don’t try logic here – you would miss it yet again. Meditate on this.

If and ONLY if you meditate and realize this fact and understand about the ‘presumption’ would you be free from pain of the unexpected.

Bondage or freedom from pain – choice is yours!

Contd

Same old, same old – Old wine in New bottle!

One way or the other when people are driving fast and going at high speed in their career, life or karma pushes them or puts them to rest on way or the other. When the going is fast and hectic, the person is all going out! When his work outside is quite a bit done (by way of magniture)**, then the Nature decides he (the person) needs a break to recoup and reassess his priorities in life and sends signals – which like most ‘wise ones’ he overlooks.

Some like Dilip saab learn the right lesson the first time. They know how to navigate the right way and direction, the right speed and with right state of mind in the material world. They realize and accept that it is stupid to go behind ephemeral*** things of the world by burning themselves. They realize that the ‘self’ is above all! So as they chase and experience the things of life, they keep ‘themselves’ above all!

The purpose of ‘road block’ being served it doesn’t come again and such people ride the train of success for a very long time in the right frame of mind – i.e., being happy and contended inspite of being successful (Read this sentence more number of times to understand it correctly!)

Others – well, they – they go from one pain to another!

 # slow down, outer world, healing self

** By the way it doesn’t apply to people doing just daily routine 9-7 jobs. Their speed is less than 40kmph so where would there be need to slow down further. We are talking about people who are high achievers or who are high performers ONLY. Your logic will make you apply this right example in wrong place. Beware!

*** ephemeral – things that last for very short time,

अषाष्वत , क्षणिक

à°…à°¶ాà°¶్వతమైనది , à°•్à°·à°£ిà°•à°®ు

(for all those reading Telugu and Hindi scripts, some days you may find typo mistakes - bear with me - if you want it corrected, then point it out and i will do the needful)

Any suggestions to improve the post content or look will be looked into and those that i can accommodate i surely will....

Questions answered :

  • What is the purpose of breaks in life?
  • Why do people who are adamant have more break down situations than the flexible ones?
  • What is the purpose of life?

Points to be noticed and taken :
  • Break can be both forced by circumstances or the self claimed one (by one who is sensible enough to see the signs)
  • Lazy bones beware - Don't use this to express your laziness. Don't quote me to run away from your job or responsibilities saying 'you need a break'. Be honest! Laziness should be tackled by giving in to more work and taking more responsibilities.
  • You can learn the easy way or the hard way. Choice is yours. Easy way is one where you respect the flow of seasons in life. Easy way is when you develop patience and you learn to wait and heal. Hard way is when life gives you 'jolt' painful and compulsive enough to make you let go off your adamant nature and pick up being flexible.
  • A hiatus helps you to admire and value what we have.

Let's do some thinking :

I didn't write for few days. And ...... the feelings, questions and demands for writing - wow....
now my question is - what does this teach you or reflect?
When I ask for feed backs, sharing experiences, ask questions, then only couple of the regulars answer and others - you know are silent! (But we read maam, but don't like to type, don't want to type, don't find to read/type etc etc)
For not playing your part of reading daily or sharing your insight etc which hardly is for 5 mts max - you have all valid reasons and yet
yet you KNOW HOW THE OTHER PERSON IS SUPPOSED TO  act and how much to act.
Apply this in every aspect or atleast the aspect of life where there is some tension. Maybe, you are sure of how others should give and when, how much to give to you, but when it comes to playing your part in that relationship you are escaping with the excuses many times by way of blaming the other!
Take a pause and do some honest internal check. May be it's time we change the dynamics of our relationship by changing the way we demand from it and the way we function in it!
