Bad people are actually broken ones!

Bad people are actually broken ones!

People who hurt others are the ones who are broken more than others!

People who hurt others are the ones who are in pain that even they are not aware of!

People who are jealous, envious, manipulative, cheating, frauds, exploiting are the ones who are farthest from their soul consciousness.

If you can show compassion, it will help you grow!

If you don't have strength to deal with them, take a step back (mentally), detach yourself from them and then heal them. they are the ones who need healing more than anyone.

Bad people are actually the broken ones.

They are the bleeding ones.

They need healing more than anyone!

Practice compassion with them. That doesn't mean you let them exploit you of your life and life's savings!

But, heal them if you can and wish to and move on (mentally mainly).

Detachment is not physical but mental. If you detach yourself mentally, you still can be with that person and not get hurt. That is real freedom!

Me, My Guru – On destiny and our choices!

     Contd....

Me, My Guru – On destiny and our choices!

So, I would say, in such cases, instead of running away, stay back, heal, heal and heal and outgrow the negative impulses you have for the other and part ways.

If the person is in your life for a reason e. that is in line with your soul agenda, then it is a different story. He has come to teach you something. Either to develop a quality or to let go of a quality. It can be something like learning to forgive or being flexible (for an adamant person). Till you learn your lesson, he will go nowhere. Even if he does, some other person with a similar nature will come to teach you the same subject. So, it is up to you to decide if you want to learn from the first person or learn from the fifth relationship of the same kind.” Saying this our Guru left for the day.

I was hurt, confused, angry, and almost in tears.

I didn’t know if I had to be happy that we were the master of our fate or cry over the fate that I had written for myself. Did I take it as the price I paid for my stupidity and ignorance or take it as a lesson necessary for the growth of my soul. Either way, the pain and suffering of the present couldn’t be done away with. But, at least, it was good to know that this pain was optional and temporary if I chose to let it be so. I can change the turn of events for the better with the right attitudes, healing techniques and right choices from now on!

Now the ball was literally in my court!

Now the million-dollar question was “What was I going to do about it? Keep crying about my past choices and curse my fate? Or would I shake myself up of the pity, dependence, and such attitudes that bound me to this pain and walk towards my freedom from all this once and for all?”

I have to wait and see what road I take?

Me, My Guru – On destiny and our choices!

     Contd....

Me, My Guru – On destiny and our choices!

Now, I am talking only in relation to people in our life. If the person in your life is because of reason a. and b. then, once we realize that we asked for them in our ignorance but we have moved on now and that desire no more holds good, they go away from our life – automatically. But, there is a condition for this. You can’t have ill-feelings for that person. You should have cleared all negative feelings and positive feelings for that person. He should get treatment of a stranger in your life. One who is met without any malice or old baggage and one we are always eager to know more! When that spontaneity enters into a relationship, that becomes “karma free”. And the best part is either one of them to be in that state is enough to cut the chords of karma between them.

If the person has come into your life, because you owe him, then till you clear your debts in toto and happily, joyfully and on your own, he wouldn’t go. This is if the debt is financial.

But, what if the debt is of emotions, then either of you should let go off that negative feeling, emotion and come to a space of at least “space of no ill-feeling” for the other. Then, the person goes away from your life as a ripe fruit falls off the tree. You don’t have to make any effort for that. If you are making effort to leave, then there is malice and animosity. In that case, even if you leave the person in this life, the relationship because it is not yet healed completely, you will end up meeting him again in next life time for sure – till you clear off the debts, this cycle continues.

Me, My Guru – On destiny and our choices!

Me, My Guru – On destiny and our choices!

Today, even before she could start our class, I asked her the long pending question of mind “But, if I am to be with the person who is sent into my life, like forever, then am I to suffer the injustice meted by the other who is in my life calling it my fate?”

I asked this question wanting her to say “No need to suffer with them. You can move on. I was so pissed off with the person, the so-called family that has cheated me say forever. I no longer wanted to be abused by them. I wanted to move on. And I felt it was my right to do so.

“Now, in this case, we need to revisit our understanding of fate once again. What is fate?" our Guru started. But, I expected it to be a two-word answer - "no need". But, here she was continuing her explanation "How does it come into effect? Well, for anything to happen, there should be a cause for it, right? Then, for fate to come into effect, the causes are as such:

a.
When we have thought or desired something in our life and wished for it to happen, it manifests in our life – it’s just that sometimes, or rather many times it happens much later in life, when we have almost or completely forgotten our wish.

b.     When we act out of choice. For example, if we choose to bring a child into our life, we have created a destiny for ourselves – that of losing our sleep for many years to come. We lose our carefree way of living. We lose our importance to our child in the family. So on and so forth. So you see, when you make a decision and act on it, the repercussions are called fate. “You asked for it” would fit right for this kind of karma!

c.

When we owe! People take money and conveniently forget it. That comes back as karma. In this category also comes money that is not paid or not paid in full in exchange for any service received.

Similarly, we owe to people their help, to Mother Earth for our existence, to our Pitrus – forefathers for our existence and lineage, our parents and family for our lineage and existence.

We also owe people the harm that we have done to them. If we have harmed anyone or have been hurt by others, we come back and meet each other to clear the slate of that harm. Like-wise with all emotions and feelings.

d.     When the people and situations in our life align with the soul agenda.

On receiving pain in relationships

On receiving pain in relationships

Humko unse wafa ki hai ummeed jo nahin jaante wafa kya hai…

हमको उनसे वफ़ा की हैं उम्मीद जो नहीं जानते वफ़ा क्या हैं।

I expect fidelity from the one who doesn’t know what it means…

Is my pain because of my “misplaced expectations”?

Ask yourself this question every time you feel cheated, hurt, disappointed or exploited in your relationship?

Does it happen always with you?

Or does it happen with only one person in your life?

Does that one person do the same with all or is he so with only you?

Answer these questions honestly and face the answers with courage. The answers give you the solution many times.

You are suffering may be not because you HAVE TO but because you are looking at the entire issue from the wrong direction. Ask the right questions and many pain is done away with in life. Is this one such kind of pain and suffering in your life?

On self esteem - shayaari!

On self esteem - shayaari!

What an Attitude on when having to face hatred from near and dear!?

किसी की नफ़रत का बहाना बन गया हूँ

किसी की हसी का सहारा बन गया हूँ

टूटने पे उनकी ख्वाइश होगी पूरी

सही कहते हैं मैं सितारा बन गया हूँ।

Kisi ki nafrat ka bahaan ban gaya hoon

Kisi ki hasi ka sahara ban gaya hoon

Tootne pe unki khaish hogi poori

Sahi kahte hai mein sitaara bangaya hoon….

I have become an excuse for someone's hatred

I have become support for someone's smile

I know his wish would come true if I break down

May be it's true that people say I have become a star!

Come back with your understandings and applications in life with this shaayari and then I will explain if needed...

Look at use of words, you'll understand the psyche of every emotion we feel.

Also look at the poetic beauty of comparing self with "toottha tara - meteorite"!

The mystic says – On waiting!

Contd....

The mystic says – On waiting!

Patience is not just passing the ability to wait.  It is the ability to keep the right attitude, being calm while waiting. Everything comes to those who can wait!

Everyone is forced to wait. But, the ones who have faith in the process or in the Creator will have cheerful disposition while waiting!

Where there is no trust, it expresses itself as complaints, fear, anger, anxiety and tears. Trust doesn’t demand! And while it waits , it creates – something beauriful and useful to the world.

And those who know to wait and who can wait, enjoy waiting. For them waiting is no pain!so you see, desire/wish not being fulfilled is not the problem or the cause of our suffering. The attitude we have while waiting is the problem.

Patience is not a word! It is an attitude. It is developed when we put that in practice. We can practice it only when we get a chance to "wait" for something we desire so badly!

So, let's put all our waiting time to good use. Let's develop the virtue so important for our existence. It is imperative for our mental well-being. It is so essential for our peace of mind. It is the foundation on which our happiness rests! Let's build this attitude solely for our well-being - not to please any God high above us!
