Sadhan for this week

Contd.....

Sadhan for this week

Once you decide to do something you develop qualities to channelize your energies and intelligence in making your wish into reality. You develop discipline, will-power, commitment and strength.

Every time we miss out on fulfilling a commitment, we fall in our own eyes. Our self-worth falls down. We become lazy, manipulative, expert with and in giving excuses and lies. In short, we move away from our ‘Essence’.

Every situation in life is there ONLY to let us strengthen our inner nature. If we give in to laziness, carelessness or whatever, we develop and strengthen our ‘tamasic’ nature. That in turn develops our ‘asuric self’.

If we decide to just follow orders we develop ‘daivic qualities’ (divine qualities) like discipline, being active, cheerfulness, enthusiasm, self-satisfaction and self-worth/esteem.

We write our fate with our every single choice. Every time, you take it casually to make or develop your ‘divine nature’, you are giving energy to your asuric nature. And that over time becomes your nature. That nature reflects in your attitude. Attitude decides our character. And that character is the basis of our fate.

One who is alert every single minute is the one who develops essential divine qualities like commitment, sacrifice, obedience, will-power, purity, steadfastness, courage and self-control.

Sadhan such as these apart from having their own value and benefit also effects all on all these ways....

know this and choose wisely.....whatever be your choice know and accept the repercussions of your choice to be your own doing....

may your Guru guide you right in choosing right over pleasant....

Sadhan for this week

Sadhan for this week

Starting tomorrow, let’s do ‘homam’ without fail twice a day i.e., on 11th, 12th and 13th November.

Those who are regularly doing homam – just be with your regular sadhan. It shouldn’t mean anything ‘extra’ for you! Kudos for that! Celebrate that! And keep being regular in doing homam! Bless all those who are regulars in doing homam!

Those who don’t do homam regularly, well this is especially difficult for them. All the best for you! The entire crowd is doing it with you – see that, imagine that and that by itself can be reason and inspiration enough to do this!

Those who already have come up with multiple reasons for not being able to do – spare your breathe! Don’t waste it on ‘justifying your inability’. Don’t explain!

On empty cup

On empty cup

For start, be aware! Whenever you are asked a question here in this blog, start thinking and share your views. Look at others views too! Think on them too! Broaden your perspective. Take others’ perspective and try to expand on work on that! Remember that no ‘understanding’ is complete till you have hit upon the ‘Absolute Truth’. So keep working on your understanding on every statement – here it is about ‘empty cup’. Keep thinking about it – regularly at least 10mts a day and you will understand something more after say 10-20 days. Share that too! That way, keep growing!

Understanding is like an onion! It happens in layers. Peel one layer after another. This journey and this learning are beautiful. The entire process is rewarding. Don’t connect this learning with what is happening or not happening with life! Keep working on your clarity of thought!

Stop not! Rest not!

Question time :

What did you take from this post?
What points did you notice ?
Where do you plan to use and apply them?
Would you be able to look at 'empty cup' again and try to peel off one more of its layers?

On empty cup

On empty cup

Further to https://kantipadam.blogspot.com/2021/10/the-empty-cup.html let me tell you all that I appreciate your participation and welcome the comments in this regard.

Every comment/observation made in this regard is right.

But, at the same time even though it is ‘right’ it is not ‘complete right’. Understanding happens in layers – always! But the one who thinks that he has understood it ‘ALL’ when he understands something stops ‘growing’ in learning. His walk towards the ‘ultimate Truth’ stops then and there – at least for a while. Only when he realizes that what he learnt isn’t or can’t be complete Truth will his journey start again. This is the ‘game’ that mind, ego and maya play – always and win every single time if we are not alert and aware of their games!

Beware! Be alert! Don’t let them win over you! They would make stupid out of us!

DON’T LET THEM DO THAT TO YOU! Don’t let them win over you! Be aware and be walking maybe slowly but surely and steadily towards the Truth! Let them know that you are ‘winning’ over them!

The war has begun! Let victory be yours!

It may take janmas – but what is the hurry! Let’s still walk towards our goal with single minded concentration. Let’s win over ‘maya’ again and again – every single day!

Now, what do we do for that?

Problem and solutions!

Problem and solutions!

Bigger the problem, easier the solution.

More frightened you are, easier to get out of that situation.

Bigger the problem, easier it is to fix it.

Solution is where the problem is - often times!

When you look at the problem you can't see the solution, when you get to see the solution you can't see the problem - like the picture above and below! What do you see in these pictures?

Change the way you look to come out of the problem and to see the solution!

There are different ways of learning.....

Contd......

There are different ways of learning.....

The next is ‘hear’ from the one who has made mistakes and just take essence of their knowledge and simply apply it in our lives. This is the role of the Guru. This is where he gives out of love all the essence of knowledge that he has accumulated over the janmas to be applied, absorbed, applied and to get benefitted from it effortlessly.

There is one more method too where we exchange our mistakes with each other and learn from each other. Here we can grow faster. We can support each other. We can stand by each other as and when the other falls. We can point out each others’ mistakes and there by act as mirrors to each other. This is possible only when we keep aside our ego. If we are competing with each other, then the chances of benefit from this procedure is almost nil.

Each method has its ups and downs. Each method asks you to pay a price when you choose that path. Each is good for one kind of mentality and personality. Knowing the good and bad of each path and choosing them reflects our patience, understanding capacity and sanity.

One can choose two or more methods at different point of time for faster growth and healing.

Sum up your understanding from this post. How will this post be used by you and where? What was the need of this post now?

There are different ways of learning.....

There are different ways of learning.....

One is to learn at our pace and with our own experiences and intelligence. It is beautiful but exhausting, painful, lonely and it takes longer than usual....Here we need to learn from our own mistakes. Here we need to bear the brunt of our mistakes. But there is no one to answer to. And there is no one to look up to too!

The other is to learn from others mistakes. We see others make mistakes and decide and learn not to make those mistakes. Here if we end up justifying them or rebuking them, then we lose the opportunity to grow from others' mistakes. When we choose to learn this way, we can avoid all the mistakes others' in our life make. This way we also save ourselves from the pain of bearing the brunt of making the mistakes. This is good choice. But the shortcoming of this path is that we can learn only as much as we can observe and understand. And there is second issue of having limited exposure to people and their failures in our lives. The people in our lives may fail but we may not know why and how or where they failed unless told – many times. So the chance we get to learn reduces accordingly.

# learning, give and take, the easy and the difficult path, self learning, lessons of life,

Please Note - ref comments in the link https://kantipadam.blogspot.com/2021/10/new-beginning.html?showComment=1635216240277: As I have repeated myself umpteen times, I repeat myself once again - "There are no coincidences in life. It's just that we are not able to connect the RIGHT DOTS. One who is able to is the Guru and the Divine. Others can only jump to conclusions...."

koi cheez thukke mein nahin hota hai - nothing happens just like that! One who thinks so is a fool who assumes himself to be 'smart and intelligent!?!'

There has to be a cause for any effect to happen!!!
