Guru

...contd...

2.  Shakuni Type - They say they will procure you objects of your desire but the methods that they follow are that of 'adharma'.  Like, black magic, cheating, manipulation et like.

Their basic and only intention to fulfill their intention/desire through their student i.e., of procuring money, fame, power, respect etc through you.  Your benefit is never there in their agenda.

3.  The Ignorant Fool - These are very dangerous because they don't even know the effects of the procedures followed to obtain or fulfill some desire.  For eg., a yoga guru who doesn't know the bad effects of asan done by a person suffering with some ailment say slip disc etc can harm more than benefit the student.  A fanatic religious head who vehemently opposes other beliefs and gives a lob sided view of the textual contents or a reiki/pranic or any alternative therapists/master who doesn't know the whys and hows of a procedure - they all come under this category.

The harm is, the benefit is not seen by the student even after following the 'right procudre' for considerable amount of time - nay sometimes a negative effect is seen in some cases.  Then the student becomes disillusioned and may altogether leave the path of Sadhan being totally frustrated.

'Right knowledge in a fools hand can be dangerous' can be applied to them.

They make tall claims and give poor results but are smart enough to blame it on the student.  Beware of these Ignorant ones who go around claiming or acting as Gurus.
