So near yet so far........

So near yet so far........

It is so simple to be happy but so difficult to be simple!

So very right!!!

But how is it so simple to be happy? It is very simple to be happy because, to be happy we have only one reason to be so. And that is JUST BE.

JUST BE is all there is to be! And yet it looks unattainable. So it is so difficult to be happy.

Peace and happiness are our very nature. It is our natural state of Being.

To experience it, we need not work to become something. We need not attain anything. We just have to BE. Like silence is natural. It need not be worked for. To create sound, we make an effort. Likewise, not to be happy we are making an effort. And boy! How successful we are in this effort!

Trust me, we are very creative and innovative in making new and limitless efforts to be unhappy. We are ever in the struggle to keep ourselves unhappy and to be in pain. We do work really hard for it – physically, mentally and intellectually.

Just as the bed of the lake can’t be viewed if it is muddy on the surface, so too we can’t see our real nature – The Truth for what it is because of our acquired nature.

बड़े बेजार होके फिर रहे थे हम इस मकान में
आइना जो देखा आज थो लगा चलो कोई थो है जो हमें पहचानता है इस घर में.

I was going around this house very confused and frustrated
I felt little relieved today when I saw myself in the mirror and felt good that there is atleast someone in this house who knows me!

He whom I enclose with my name (we call it our ego) is weeping in this dungeon. I am ever busy building this wall all around; and as this wall goes up into the sky day by day I lose sight of my true being in its dark shadow.

I take pride in this great wall and work very hard to plaster it and strengthen it lest it should have some hole left out…but I find that at the end of the day with all the hard work I have made myself a prisoner of my own doing and in my own home built so lovingly and carefully by me..….

What prompts us to acquire this self which blinds us or takes us away from The Truth and how to drop this acquired self is all we need to know to realize our real basic nature – that of divine, complete and a blissful self – sat chit ananda.

Till then, I once again say “Look within”

***********

Look within, karma, sat chit ananda, soul, soul's agenda, soul journey, ego, are we liberating our soul or pushing it into hell called ego through the journey called life?, liberation of soul, freedom, peace,

Questions addressed:
  • What is the purpose of life?
  • Is the life for enjoyment?
  • What is the purpose of soul journey?
Points to be understood:
  • We are enslaving ourselves in our own prison called ego.
  • We build it every time we live our life through our senses.
  • Bring awareness to life and its actions and situations - get liberated through life!
  • Freedom is never IN ACTION but through action!

i received a mail and i am posting for all to view
Just on Lov and Anger Write up:
It is nice to put A.R Rahman Oscar quote and saying that we all have choice. In reality Didi, Good is there to counter Bad or Lov is there to counter Anger.
Just like it is equally important to have Lov in life one should also experience Anger in Life either directly or indirectly.
So let not we say bad is bad and cast it away. Let not we treat people who are immoral as bad, coz it is they who teach me the beauty of good and experience the beauty of God.
This state is state of acceptance and realisation. This is true state which states that there is God in everyone. Be the person good or bad. That is why Ravana, Kumbakarna, Duryodhana, Shashipala and others earned salvation faster than the great dhamic people of those times. They got directly slained by Thy Supreme and acheived salvation.

The day, I can feel that lov in everyone and experience good and bad in same equinamity then that state is where there is no need of good for me.Coz just like bad is state that I do not desire, Good is also a state that I should try not to desire. I should raise above that Good and Bad. That state is what we should strive for and eventually we can go to that state. A state of ananda and experience that beautiful bliss.

On Pain:
Didi again I would like to add somemore points. The whole rite up of pain and sorry acheives because we are still feeding body. The body is what we look after. Our food is to preserve body, our mental statisfaction is again to take care of body and mind. All these we keep doing to preserve body which is not permanent. Let us focus on soul which never dies and then where is pain?
there is no pain for a thing which never dies?
If we try to address a thing or object that will perish and constantly try to look after it, the pain will always come. Focus on the thing that is permanent and then the notion of pain will automatically die.

But ma'm, i have a doubt.. does the soul have an attitude of it's own? does it carry with it the impressions (pain or happiness) of all the previous births?? or is pain or gain just a "role" as assigned to an actor??
Often actors roll wiht laughter just after giving a sad performance. does the same apply to the soul???
Does the soul take itself too seriously, or does it laugh evrytime God says "cut"???

Does soul have an attitude...?

Yes...it sure does have attitude, hatred, kindness, greed etc., but needs a body to fulfill its desires.

Does it carry with it the impressions of previous births?

Yes.All the impressions (pain, happiness etc.,) will be built in at the time of birth. In every birth you will be given a chance to develop on your character. How you develop your character with your thoughts make you a good or a bad person. If you develop anger, hatred (-ve characters) then you will be unhappy throughout your life and you will carry this impression in your next birth. In your next birth again you are given a chance to develop your character and the cycle begins again.

If you develop +ve characters you will always be happy and you attain MOKSH in very less number of re-births.

Does soul take itself seriously..?

Yes. Otherwise we cannot laugh, cry, hate,LOVE & LUST ( these two characters can MAKE or BREAK a person) and be happy. Remember that we carry our desires in our next birth. If the soul is not serious then why will the soul take next birth to fulfill its desires...? or to take revenge..? (film KARZ....?)

The general expectancy of happiness is so great that if we fail to get it, it leads to unhappiness.

We want happiness in our own way and as we define it.We assume that if my dreams are fulfilled then ONLY I can be in a state of happiness, bliss. And the worst thing is that we push our happiness somewhere in our future thinking that till I realize my dream I cannot be happy. Pain and happiness are unnecessary burdens that we create by keeping such conditions.

If you want to be happy be happy. NO CONDITIONS. Otherwise the state of unhappiness continues.

Ravi's view about Love & anger and on Pain is worth reading.
That is why Ravana, Kumbakarna, Duryodhana, Shashipala and others earned salvation faster than the great dhamic people of those times. They got directly slained by Thy Supreme and acheived salvation.

Here i have a different opinion. There is no guarantee that if you are slained by the SUPREME that you will achieve Salvation.God has to kill those people to maintain the balance between GOOD and EVIL. They will be given one more chance in their next birth to work on their characters.

Lord Krishna was NOT killed by Supreme to attain a salvation but by a hunter and yet Krishna has attained a salvation.
Depending on your deeds in the present birth the Supreme decides whether you have next birth or Salvation.

Now the topics are interesting and peoples participation is also increasing
