Divinity of soul

….contd….

So, if all this is for us to realize our divinity, then why are we facing such disgusting people and situations in the first place? This is because of our thoughts and karma that we attract such people and situations in our life. This is already explained in previous posts. to understand the effect of karma read posts dt.Thursday, October 23, 2014, Monday, May 12, 2014 and to understand about the soul and its journey read posts dated :Wednesday, April 15, 2009, Thursday, April 16, 2009 to understand thought power and its effect read previous posts dt.Thursday, January 5, 2012 – clearly. Just go through them to brush up your memory. Please don’t think it’s boring. I’ve already read those posts so what’s the fun and all. Please do! You’ll observe that you’ve understood a point which you hadn’t noticed when you had read last time or you have understood the same words differently now than then. The difference is because of all the healing that you have done and how it’s bettered your perception, understanding capacity and clarity of thought. So, do this exercise everytime I suggest you to do it. You’ll really benefit and yes experience your growth personally.

Yes, apart from these reasons soul has to know that it knows. This can be known only when it makes the right choice and experience it. Confused? Fine! I know to cook but my knowing is different when I cook and experience it. Like-wise, you know that gulab-jamun is a sweet. But when you eat it, you know it is sweet. There’s a world of difference between both knowing. So, as a soul I know I am Love but to know for sure need to experience Love. So, I attract such people and situations in my life. “At every crossroad of life, I had to choose between love and hate. I always chose love and here I am” AR Rahman in his Oscar winning speech. Remember, you make a choice and that choice if is ‘love’ you raise in life. You rise as a soul. You realize you are love. But, if on the other hand you choose anger, hatred etc you fall in life, you pain your soul. That is the greatest of sins. Hurting your soul and giving pain to it! This pain and hurt hides the Divinity of the soul.

Soul and its journey

…contd…..

Coming back to our question, how’s this connected with our spiritual growth? Simple! When we are angry, we generate instant hatred for the person who’s cause of our anger. It affects our clarity of thought and there by it tampers with our decision taking power. We end up taking decisions – mostly not the right ones and live to regret those decisions for the rest of our lives. No doubt, the direction in which our life turns is bad and we end up cursing ‘Our Destiny’ as if it was written by someone up there!

“Ek pal ki gunah ki sazaa hum sadiyoon bhugaththe hai”
we live the consequence of our actions for years to come; actions which we took just few minutes to commit….

So true!

If this was all that would have happened, I still would not have bothered to explain this point – repeatedly with so many examples. We may not know or realize that we are souls working through this body but yet that is the fact. Buying assets, getting married, progeny, name, fame and success though seem inevitable, they all belong to body, mind and intellect. These desires also can be experienced for that is also purpose for seeking a body and hence human life. But, the actual purpose ultimately is to realize the divinity of the soul. To experience ‘love’ that a soul is capable of being. So, whenever we are angry, jealous, irritated it shrinks the energy of soul. This in turn makes us more forgetful (don’t know if such a phrase exists) of our divinity and maya engulfs us more strongly than before. This causes us to undergo more painful experiences and more janmas. Well, if you are ok with it then we need not discuss further on this issue. But, since I hear about so many of your pains which is unbearable for you and since I am unable to see you suffering so and can’t bear to imagine you undergoing more of such pain and sufferings, I am asking you to work on your weaknesses and realize and express through your Divinity. Let’s express love that we are capable of. For that as I always say – Sadhan, sadhan and nothing like sadhan. ‘Abhyasa’ is one of the best expressions of the same in Sanskrit (language). Let’s start with Let go meditation, re-birth meditation, full-body reiki, homam and earth healing.

Listen to this song which sums up our soul journey beautifully.

on anger

…contd……

By talking nonsense and by their acts, these people are instigating you to get irritated and to feel bad. By doing that, you are fulfilling their desire. You seem to play from their team! Why?

If you really want to get back at them – listen to me. Don’t react. Don’t get irritated or angry. This will hurt them like nothing. Believe me – try it to see the results. In the process you are also balanced and peaceful.  You’ll feel empowered when you are smiling when they shouting, abusing, behaving in a cheap way. No, don’t argue. We would only be going in circles. Try it to prove me wrong atleast and then come back to me and then we’ll talk.

For those who want to change such people – do reiki regularly that they have clarity of thought and that they act to project their divinity only.

And for those who don’t want to do any of these things – just get up and leave them, but without losing your temper.

And those of you who are here to heal your karma and to grow spiritually and whose desire is to be balanced at all times – stithapragna – without questioning do reiki to transform them, talk boldly about other way of seeing the issue, teach them to disagree as adults, talk of clarity of thought.

Right Choice

….contd….

Fine, you don’t want to dirty your hands in this job – fine. You are afraid or you don’t want to help them. Good enough! Even that is fine if that is your choice. But, that choice should be without getting irritated, angry and hating them for what they do. This atleast is a must ‘my child’ you should aim at being.

(This also answers all such questions as “how do I deal with family members who are not understanding me, supporting me or forcing me to do such of things that I don’t want to do!)

Why should I not be angry at such people? Don’t they deserve to be punished ?

Agreed! Assuming, I said assuming that they have wronged, even then its better and wise to not get angry, irritated at them – leave alone wanting to kill them. Because, anger is a burning coal that you are to throw at the culprit. It may punish him but surely will burn you first. If the other person is the culprit, why hurt yourself? Why are you harming yourself? Physically for sure! Getting acidity, BP and scores of related issues which is even medically proven. So, I say, its better not to get angry at them.  (please refer posts dt. Monday, March 16, 2009, Thursday, March 12, 2009  On anger for further clarification). Further more you are loosing your cool, even after so many years. Is it worth it? He’s said or done something and moved on but you are still stuck there. Don’t you want to move on? If yes, let go and move. No – don’t go on ‘justifying game’ – you will never move on for sure that way! For no valid reason, just let go. You’ll feel so light and peaceful. You owe yourself this peace and balance of mind.

If you are still thinking about him means, he’s living rent-free in your brain or mind. If you don’t like him, why keep him so close? Why would someone want to live with the person they so much dislike or hate, I fail to understand! Unless, unless of course you love hurting yourself. I can’t find a better reason. So please enlighten me on this!

Can I give only bad in exchange for bad?

….contd…..

Like every scientific hypothesis which when has to be proved has to undergo few tests and the test result prove that the hypothesis is true, we need to follow certain steps to prove (to ourselves only – mind you – not to others!) that ours seer’s hypothesis or statement “I am Divine” is true! Because, only when we know about ourselves will this fear and ignorance vanish. Unfortunately or fortunately, there is no second option for this realization.

And to this end, I am trying my bit to show where the ignorance is and how it’s playing on and through our senses to hide “The Truth”. Since, this is our long term goal, let’s address the issue at hand.

(Please refer to comments section on ‘discipleship’ for clarification on this explanation)

You are avoiding mentioning your Guru’s name because others are making fun of him. Same as what Peter did in Life of Jesus. But, my question is why should their understanding and not understanding decide our actions? Why are we letting others decide what we talk about and when? They don’t like my Guru and hence talk ill of him – fine. But, that’s their opinion. Am I not man enough to let other person use his right of expression? Where’s the condition that one should be ‘liked and respected’ by all just because he is spiritual or Guru or good? If you can understand hindi (language) listen to this song “ kuch tho log kahenge…” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=95UdAo4JdJI

And  click link http://www.hindilyrics.net/lyrics/of-Kuchh%20Toh%20Log%20Kahenge.html if you want translation or lyrics of this song.

And most common of all excuses “ if there are blessed or have punya karma (good deeds in their account ) then they will come to know of it. Why should I go and tell people who don’t deserve to know about it?”

Just disassociate yourself from the situation and try to understand what I am trying to tell. Please be with me here. Hiranyakashyap did not believe in ‘Narayana’ and yet Prahlad his son inspite of threat to his life did not stop talking, singing and preaching about the glory of ‘Narayana’. Agreed it didn’t change Hiranyakashyap but did give him Moksh as he met his death in the hands of ‘Narayana’ and Prahlad went on to become ‘one of the greatest devotees of the Lord Narayana. If Prahlad had thought similarly would this have happened?

If Sage Narada had thought, why talk about spirituality and divinity of soul to a highway robber and murderer, we wouldn’t have had the Great Sage Valmiki and may be no ‘Ramayana’ too amidst us! (I am assuming that all of you know this story!)

You and I can’t decide who deserves and who doesn’t. Even assuming they don’t have ‘punya karma’ (which can never happen to anyone – punya karma can be less in a certain area but never ‘no punya’ in a person’s life – not possible!), then it’s all the more it’s our duty to talk about ‘help’ and ‘right choices’ and ‘possiblity of them experiencing their divinity’ to them regularly. Because, someone should try and why can’t that someone be YOU? Do you know what’s the national character of Japanese that turned a war devasted country to one of the richest countries in the world “if one can do it, I can do it and will do it”. Let’s embrace it!

We are one!

…contd….

“Now how does respecting Guru, having faith in him, declaring that you follow a certain Guru affect “your freedom? What’s the connection” you may ask? Very close if you observe and understand correctly. As I’ve already explained not disclosing your Guru’s name in public or not being open that you are a reiki channel (and all such related incidents) talks about your fears. Fear can be of any shape – fear of rejection, fear of being rebuked, fear of infamy, fear of having to face irrelevant and senseless (in our opinion) questions that are dipped in sarcasm and cynicism. For details understanding of fear read related posts dt:Saturday, May 16, 2009, Thursday, April 9, 2009.

Fear stems because of a. fear of losing what we have b. and receiving what we dislike. Whatever be the reason “fear” is crippling. As Swami Vivekananda often said “fear is the only sin that needs to be addressed and overcome to gain access to our Divinity” and “ignorance” is the basic cause of fear. Ignorance about our divinity and ignorance that we all are one. Because of this (supposed) separatedness, we fear each other and wish to protect self from the other! What an irony! It’s like my head is trying to save itself from my neck! But, this ignorance can’t be wiped out by reading about it or talking about it. First we need to hear about it. (here ‘hear’ also means reading). Then, we need to ‘Believe it’. Believe as in ‘it may be true’ so let’s work towards it. Next step is to meditate on it. And only when realize through our own experience will we believe it! It’s so funny really! Someone says there are 1,02,08,47,789 stars in the sky and we believe it and start quoting it too but if (someone says or) you read “don’t touch-wet paint” you inevitably touch to see if it’s true! Talks about our nature!

Likewise, someone says Dinosaurs existed millions of years ago and we trust but someone (that someone is no ordinary material scientist but the Great Seers – Sages who are our forefathers) say “you are divine and there is no other than you”, “that which is – you are”- i.e., “thathvamasi” or “He is one whom sages call by different names” ekam sadh vipra bahuda vadhanti (Upanishads and Vedas) we don’t accept and live it. We say we believe it sometimes but our  behaviour is never projecting that ‘we are Divine’ – it is that of ‘mortals’.
