On life and  hope!

Girthi deewar ko ek haath se thame baithe hai,

Yuon tho khandar puraana hai, ummed se thame baithe hai….

गिरती दीवार को एक हाथ से थामे बैठे हैं,

यूँ तो खंडहर पुराना हैं उम्मीद से थामे बैठे हैं।  

పడే గోడను ఓ చేతితో పట్టుకున్నాను 

చూడొస్తే ఇది శితిలమే కానీ ఆశతోనిలబెట్టి ఉన్నాను .... 

I am holding a wall that is falling with a hand, 

this building is in ruins but it is hope that is holding it up....

(The meaning is usually lost in translation. But I try for the sake of those who prefer to read it in their language of choice.....it is easy to understand when you stop looking at the words individually and get the meaning with the context as whole.....)

Life is not celebrated when it is perfect as per our desire and expectation. Life is not right when it fits our bill of 'how it is supposed to be'. Life is how we take what happens to us as things happen at their own pace and way. Just this clarity and life is a celebration. Remove this attitude and understanding and life becomes unbearable. People and situations of life don't make for 'PERFECT LIFE!' 

As long as you hope, life is!

With all in life where there is no hope, that is the 'end of life'.
