...contd....
Even
here their understanding is so. Please you understand it correctly. I said “more
freak accidents happen during these times,
But,
I did not say or mean –
“Every
accident happening during this time is because of this reason”.
Its’
something like –
“People
get electroculated during rainy season’.
Now,
hearing or reading this statement, I come to an understanding. One of my family
member/kid now puts a finger into a socket and gets electroculated. And I with
great air of knowledge state “I know this would happen. It’s because of rainy
season that he is electroculated”.
How
stupid would that be? That person putting his finger in socket in any season
would have given exactly same effect.
During
rainy season, because of strong winds when wires get cut and fall down
(dangerously) and come in contact with rain water or someone wet in rain comes
in contact with such live wires comes under “cases as per that statement”.
People
many times get away with ‘it’s your karma and heal it’ when they don’t know
what that student is going through. So beware of such explanations!
Conclusions:
Enjoy
the rituals of Navarathri with lots of fervour.
Eat
sweets, put on weight and we can exercise later.
Meet
friends and family and make merry.
Put
on new clothes and welcome and celebrate this season in toto!
But
also remember through and throughout every activity that ‘I need to outgrow my
weakness, kill the demons within and work to earn ‘eligible character traits’ that
are pre-requisite to set my mind on the Divine.
The
path is long and arduous. It’s challenging too! But, would it be so tempting if
it was otherwise?
May
this festival in ‘real sense’ be the victory of ‘Good’ over ‘bad’!
