To make a difference in someone's life you don't have to be brilliant, rich, beautiful or perfect. You just  have to care...

Every day brings with it millions of reasons to be grateful for....

Let's use our emotions to celebrate life....

Let's use our emotions to express our self....



When we are angry, irritated, complaining, fault-finding, ego-driven, arrogant, unforgiving and so on, we are throttling our life of its essence. No doubt, we feel stifled...we feel suffocated...we feel we are dying.....

Look within....take time to retrospect. Take time to be with 'self'. If even you don't have time to spend time with yourself, how can you expect others to take time for you?

If even we are not able to stand being with ourselves (that's what happens to us when we meditate and that's why we don't meditate), how can we expect others to like our company? No doubt we have issues in our relationships....


Take time to slow down...take time for yourself....take time and be with yourself for your sweet sake...no body would, no body can....


Because, until and unless you look at yourself honestly, validate it and accept who you are you can never outgrow that limited self and become who you are capable of!




The best relationship you can have in the world is the one you have with yourself. Your every other relationship just reflects that ultimately. Even your relationship with your Guru or God reflects how you connect with self....So if you want happiness, peace, love, affection, acceptance and respect in any of your life relationships, first mend your relationship with yourself....

Once you mend that fence all other things fall in line effortlessly...

  • Being aware of self is not a luxury but essential for all the abundance in life..
  • Know how we are pushing all that matters to us in our life away from us by being ourselves - all because we are adamant about being lazy, not wanting to know self, give me what I want then I will sit in meditation etc excuses...
  • Learning to know yourself is the first step towards loving yourself...

  • Enough to loving the 'image of who we are'. Let's daringly look at who we actually are. Then, only then we can shove away all that we don't like about how we express ourselves and bring order in our life...
  • You are the seat of abundance. Why limit yourself to self-pity image by denying yourself of that abundance.
  • Come let's embrace ourselves....

I don't address the pain because of all my emotions and denials - then
it may come out as something lethal and life threatening at a later stage in life....for eg. as a tumour that's increased to a dangerous size, cancer, organ being totally damaged etc. But if I take that pain as an SOS call from my body and instead of being angry and fearing it, if I address it at the earliest, then it could be done away with few medicines it self and within a short span of time. But, if neglected it may lead to an operation etc....is this clear?


Like-wise, emotion pain also indicates that there is something 'wrong' in the way we are looking at the situation or person in our life. It could also point out the need to look within. Meditate on the cause of pain. Don't point fingers at 'outside reasons'. Instead, look within and find the cause of your pain. Trust me, just knowing where the problem is cures the situation many times - like a miracle....

Don't sit to analyse or say 'but, this doesn't work in my situation etc'. It can be applied to every situation and every emotional pain in our life. 

Try it! It is time tested and proved again and again.

Look at the pain and be relieved of it - once and for all!

Happy pain free life to you all!

Pain




Pain of any kind, if we suffer in our life, know it to be good.

How can pain be good? Which pain is good? No one wants pain, so how can getting something that we don't want be good?

Agreed, no pain is good - per se!

No one wants pain - right and understandable and rightly so too!


Getting what we don't want can't be good as it is - but, it can be good if understood right and applied right. Confused?

well, suppose I am experiencing some sort of physical pain. It certainly is not good. Right? Why? Because it leads to me suffering because of it. When we look at what happens to me or how pain effects me, then it is not 'considered' good. It can't be considered good too from that level and angle. 


But, now try to see the same from a different angle. Let's suppose, I am crying, angry, frustrated etc because of pain in my life (physical one). Then would it solve the issue? No!!!! In fact, it may only increase it...and I may end up dealing with psychological pain too now....

Clarification on Restful living



Clarification on Restful living 




Please note that we being "Aware" even if it be for just 1-2 minutes is enough for this exercise.

Awareness doesn't mean that you are without any thoughts!

Awareness just means you are 'Aware" that you HAVE thoughts. Being AWARE that you HAVE thoughts is also "Awareness".

Just don't judge your thoughts.

Don't fight your thoughts,

Don't participate in and with your thoughts.

Just looking at them is also "doing this sadhan". Just being with your thoughts also means you ARE Aware....

So relax, on that ground and just do this sadhan....just be with it as many times as possible per day....

Be aware of what you are doing, what you are feeling, what you are thinking....all this is good enough....

Those of you who are thinking they are not able to do this because of thoughts - don't think so....you just being aware that you have thoughts is good enough 'awareness' - so just be with it....


even if you are angry with someone, you being angry with them is good enough for this exercise. just keep looking at the anger that's all....no need to stop it, no need to fight it, don't justify your anger - just be with your anger even that is good....

Similarly, you can be with any thought or emotion....
