Me, my Guru – on heaven and hell
He did not become great by controlling or winning battles with brutal force and strength. He became great by winning over his own ego and anger!
And he knew and realized how much he had wounded the Master with his uncontrolled anger and so he fell on his feet! Alexander created his heaven there. He regretted his action and ego-drive. There he created his heaven. His genuine tears expressed his genuine regret. That way he was in heaven!
Verbal forgiveness or sorry is no repentances. It’s a ‘required act’ performed mechanically. There the feelings of resentment, ego, anger, expectations and conditions of ego are not washed off the soul. They still exist! As long as our attitudes of remorse are still with us we are in hell. The day they are washed away in our tears (not physical but of soul), then, no words like sorry etc is required or needed to express that repentance. Repentance if – ONLY if real is given forgiveness automatically! The person, if repents his acts or words, rises as a ‘new man’ without these qualities or emotions of expectations, ego, conditions, anger etc. He has created a heaven then and there with ‘his sins’ condoned and washed away!

Questions addressed :
- Why seeking forgiveness verbally doesn't qualify for repentance?
- No forgiveness is received or given as long as it is only verbal.
- We say we cry seeking mercy. But that cry is not out of shame or regret of how we behaved or how we are as a person. We cry out of fear of having to receive punishment for out acts. We cry for we don't want to receive that punishment. When such tears are rolled out, we can't and never will get 'forgiveness'.
- We can't demand forgiveness.
- Seeking forgiveness itself means we have wronged. And if there is no humility even after thinking we have wronged then how can the other forgive us?
- Humility doesn't demand.
- Mercy is a favour done by the wronged. It is not the right of the wrong doer.
- Unless the soul cries out of pain and shame, unless soul is ready to wait till eternity to seek forgiveness it doesn't qualify to receive one.
- When we seek forgiveness we should be ready to do anything to seek condonment from the other. Only then our intention seems genuine. A verbal sorry is no sorry!
