Deepavali – The festival of lights – 2022

Contd....

Deepavali – The festival of lights – 2022

Let’s show to the world the glory of ‘Rama’ by living his word and living by Dharma! Let’s express our ‘hindustv’ by living by it. One who hates people of other religion is not a ‘bhakta of Rama’. One who wants to kill others is not a ‘Hindu’. One who lives by ‘Dharm’ is a hindu, a true bhakta of Rama. Let’s be his devotees the real way! Not just talk, let’s walk his way!

Next Deepavali, let’s come back with our journey and our achievements over our inner demons. Let’s come back to celebrate killing Ravana within us – next year. Let’s do it from today! And continue every single day – may be in small quarters – but let’s overcome our asuric nature little by little.

Jai siya ram!

Happy deepavali – let’s light up our inner chambers with bhakthi, commitment, faith, patience and purity!

Concluded....

Deepavali – The festival of lights – 2022

Deepavali – The festival of lights – 2022

This festival is considered a celebration of Rama’s victory over asura – Ravana. This festival is celebrated as a victory of Good over evil. This is a reminder to one and all that however powerful, able, rich might be the evil, bad or a lie, it always loses to Truth. Truth prevails – always!

This isn’t a story of just Rama and Ravana. This isn’t a story that’s over. This is story of each one of us. There is Rama in each one of us. There is Ravana in each one of us. Rama represents ‘the path of Dharma’. Ravana represents ‘our lust, ego, greed, arrogance, vanity, ignorance’ – in short everything and all of our weaknesses. However big may our weakness grow, however justified may be the acts of ego, yet in the end only Dharma prevails.

This Deepavali, let’s light up our inner Rama. Let’s vow to work on killing our Ravana within. Let’s kill one ‘head of Ravana’ – each representing one of our weakness – each single day of our life. This Deepavali, let’s burn our ego and its related nature within us. Let’s burn asura within us and let Rama within us express himself! Let’s bring ‘Ramarajya’ – the right way!

Question time :

Are our festivals just a tradition blindly followed by you?

Why do you celebrate Deepavali?

What does it represent to you?

How did you celebrate Deepavali this year?

Me, my guru – on life!

Me, my guru – on life!

“Guruji why is life so painful?” asked us one day.

“Life by itself is everything but painful. It is painful when we get fixated on how our life should be! Remove that fixation. Life happens, be with it and you’ll be happy” she replied.

“Will our pain go away? Will things go our way then?” we asked.

She smiled and said “Yes your pain and suffering will go away. Things going way is the fixation I asked you to do away with”

We realised our folly and laughed.

Questions to ponder :

What are the things  I need to let go to suffer less in my life?

What is the secret of living painfree in life?

Me, My guru - on capacity of love!

Me, My guru - on capacity of love!

The talk was on death that day and One among us said “Guruji, I can’t imagine my life without X in my life. I love X so much. I would die without X!”

Someone immediately blurted out “Koi Martha nahi kisi ke ishq mein,

Bas yadein katl karthi hai kisht kisht mein..”

कोई मरता नहीं किसी के इश्क़ में

बस यादें क़त्ल करती हैं किश्त किश्त में

No one dies in love

It’s the memory that kills the person little by little…

And our Guruji even without as much as waiting for a second replied

“koi ishq ke naam Taj chod jaata hai,

Aur koi khudh ko mitane ke samaan dhoodh letha hai

Ishq to ishq hai

Wo tho karne waale pe hai ke

Use ibaath bana de ke sharaab khaana…”

One leaves behind Taj (Taj mahal) in the name of love

And the other finds ways to mess up his life (by becoming a drunkard)

Love is love

it’s the lover who decides

to convert that into a worship or a means to his destruction….

(to take up love as worship or to demean it to a status of lust…)

She said it casually. But it held answer to each of our pain and suffering. We all took as we wanted to. In each and every situation of life, we took it to break us or make us. It entirely depended on us. She gave answer to one person. But in that one answer she answered all – if one would want to. The rest as they say is history….

On sadhan - Soul healing

On sadhan - Soul healing

We have lost some near and dear ones in our lives.....

let's take time to remember them and their value in our lives. They have enriched us in many ways. Let's say 'We miss you' and 'We love you' by taking for them these 10-15 days...

Starting today let's do 'soul healing' for our friends and family that we lost to time till the start of Dassera - 15 mts a day........

those who don't want to do the same for what so ever the reason but still want to do something for their dear ones, just 'chant MM' at least 21 malas in these 15 days....

Those who chant let me know the count afterwards......

this is also for those who are in grief, guilt or any other emotion that  was raised because of the 'death' in their life.....

heal thus and bye and by overcome the pain of death......

On experiencing life!

On experiencing life!

Life can be experienced only when we are 'now' and 'here'.

Leave the past that comes as memory and data.

Stop going to future in the name of worry, tension and planning.

Live life. Live in now! Experience what is happening right now with us, to us.....

Be alive to life.....

# life, living in the moment, mindfulness, now and here, being here, on living life,

Change of weather

Change of weather

In Hyderabad (of India) as is in every nook and corner of the world, there is change of weather happening. Couple of days it is hot summer feel and then it rains like never before. Weather is totally unpredictable. It is what it is. We take or leave it! The weather is not going to act to please us and make itself viable to our schedules and tastes.

So it is with life. It happens as it chooses to happen when we are planning other things. The pain is not as much about what is happening as it is about ‘how we expected it to happen’. Because we plan our lives and days, when it doesn’t go that way, we feel let down. We feel enraged. We are depressed. We are sad. We complain. We are angry. We feel cheated.

Think about it! Who promised us ever that ‘Life would be as we plan it’? No one…and yet we PRESUMED IT WOULD! And we are angry, frustrated, depressed that our ‘presumption’ didn’t work out right? Think about that! Sit and meditate on that. Don’t analyse, you wouldn’t get it. Don’t try logic here – you would miss it yet again. Meditate on this.

If and ONLY if you meditate and realize this fact and understand about the ‘presumption’ would you be free from pain of the unexpected.

Bondage or freedom from pain – choice is yours!
