Further to little things to do during quarantine

Further to little things to do during quarantine

1. Do re-birth with "fear " too as many times as you can. Fear is the common emotion we experience esp. when being bombarded with all the negative info. we receive through various social media sites......

as far as possible don't read these news....how does it matter as to how many people got infected and died?

Are we checking out daily the death toll of accident cases or drunken driving?

Do we tally diabetic and obesity related deaths daily?

Check once. You'll be surprised how many they are daily? And they don't go away ever - that means they are here for ever - and yet we accept them and their deaths as natural. We don't work on our eating and living styles that cause us these diseases or any such diseases. Then 'fear' doesn't visit us.

Where is the difference? ACCEPTANCE. Think about it.

Use every technique taught to you in every class/degree/ session to heal that fear of death. We all carry that in our DNA. Time we healed it. Good let's use COVID to our advantage. Let's use it as a mirror to reflect where our fear is. Let's address it as and when it pops its head. Let's become more accepting of this fact of 'life'. As long as life is, death is. Sooner we see it, accept it more we will have energy, time and sense to celebrate life. We will value life more and be more respectful of it.....

Japam : Let's chant "Mrutunjaya mantra" say 25000 times in coming days. Shall we decide on completing it by 31st May 2021 or do you want it to be some other day? Don't count no. of malas you do daily and then say 'maam i could do only X no. of times..."

Instead count backwards i.e., if we want to complet 25000 times say in 25 days, then we need do 25000/100= 250 malas. And then 250/25 (days) = 10 malas per day. Then we simply do 10 malas per day min. some days we are able to do more than 10. let's do it and keep adding it. most of us will notice that we are doing it in lesser no. of days than we started it. Greater the no. of malas that we decide to do and lesser the no. of days to do, greater is the sense of achievement in us. what say?

If for some reason, some one doesn't or can't chant this mantra they can pick up 'Om Namaha Sivaya' but that would be 1,00,000 (one lakh) times that means 1000 malas. Take your pick and make a vow. Don't take it to show off. Take it to complete it. So many of you have already done 250 malas of MM earlier. You could do it easily then. You can do it even now.

Sadhan : Fix 4 at least 1/2 hr sadhan time 4 times of the day like we did it during last year. Just sit during that time in sadhan. Have a list of sadhan to do at various points of time. Just maintain it reg. and lo! both your sadhan is complete and your state of mind - cheerful and healthy during these tough times.

Others can share if you find anything worth sharing....

On comment : https://kantipadam.blogspot.com/2021/04/mind-enemy-or-friend.html?showComment=1618857658752 regarding subconscious mind - 1. Your questions is very vague. So let the question be more specific.
2. What do you understand by mind in the first place and what does subconscious mind mean to you?

3. What is the purpose of this question? What is the basis of this question?

(All the above questions are addressed to all of you........every one is welcome to participate so i know where to start and how to go about that .......this topic is addressed completely in Aura cleansing class though........)

on Tips to address covid - AGAIN!!!

on Tips to address covid - AGAIN!!!

Thanks to so many reasons we see more number of people in our circle inspite of getting vaccinated too in many cases, being infected.

What do we do?

Do we seek pity from someone? "

or

"Are you seeking solution for the issue at hand?"

The second wave is spreading fast and many more than before are being effected. Don't panic. Do the following to avoid it with humanly possible steps that can be taken. Next if one is infected then address it with the required steps for that too........

Prevention is better than cure.

Follow the golden rules - 1. Wear mask even when visited by near and dear ones.

Excuse given - "but they are our people maam"

Ans : "Try saying that to the virus!"

Mask SHOULD  cover the nose. It being anywhere is not taken as worn by the VIRUS....so don't complain later saying 'but i wore mask maam....'

2. Avoid going to temples, shops, hotels and other public places.

Any explanation you give to go to these places reflects clearly on your poor sense of judgement. And you ALONE  will have to bear the consequences of this judgement.

"But going to temple should protect us no maam..." - NO! No God came down to you to promise you so! If you are infected then enjoy dealing with it on your own. Don't expect even sympathies from me.

We can live without shopping (especially sarees, jewellery, earrings etc...) till this covid passes. Shopping should mean ONLY fruits, vegetables and grocery - nothing more.

Heal that boredom of yours if you are going crazy because you are not able to go to hotel/shopping /movies etc....

Already had given tips on how to and what to do during this time. Just am giving you the link so that you can go back to old healing techniques......

https://kantipadam.blogspot.com/search?q=List+of+things+we+can+do+during+quarantine

I think almost all points are covered there. If anything is left out and you remember, share with all.

If I get it later, will share it with you all!

Till then, keep healing, healing and healing. There is almost nothing more we can do in present situation. Use it right and if we get past this time in this present body of ours, we'll have benefitted immensely - that is for sure!

Rama Navami

Rama Navami

For next time on wards, read this post on Ugadi and use it to chart out Rama Navami - the 9 day celebration of Rama's birth starting from Ugadi to the ninth day which is celebrated as Rama Navami.....

Those who can chant 108 times Hanuman Chalisa. You need not sit continuously for that. You can chant for say 15mts (5 times) and then go to work, then take 1/2 an hr break, chant then continue with your daily chores etc.....Just complete 108 times (even if spread through out the day!!)

Those who can't can select the number of times they are comfortable to do the same chanting........select the number which is not easy for you to perform. Greater the number, greater is the sense of achievement at the end of the day. Even if you are not able to complete you still would have done more than what you thought you are capable of doing. Feel good about that! Know you are capable of much more than what you think you are capable of!

Those who don't know hanuman chalisa, chant either "Sree rama ramethi...." at least 10 malas......

those who can't do that too, chant "Rama, Rama, Rama.." as many malas as you can.......

easy doers will do one mala and think they have done a lot.....

smart ones will take up 3 malas......

one who do japa reg. will take up 10malas effortlessly......

the one who want to challenge themselves will take up 24 malas......

24 malas - one mala per hour of the day...this way you can have your own no. representing something for you.......

do 2-3 points before/after doing set number of malas each time....that way your hands on too would be over along with the no. of malas..........

Me, My Guru – On receiving more or less!

Contd.....

Me, My Guru – On receiving more or less!

And next, I sat to do ‘japa’ of set number of malas thanking HIM for showing me immediately about my flaw in thinking! How generous of HIM to take time to show even my little flaws the moment it is committed by me!? How can one not love back HIM who is ocean of such unconditional love? How can HE be so caring? I danced with joy. I cried out of love and gratitude for HIM….”

“But what is there to laugh here?” I asked.

“Oh! That! Well, my mind was being smart and arrogant in thinking I can think whatever I want and nobody will come to know of it! And see, immediately it was shown its place! I was imaging my ‘mind’ curling its tail and hiding behind some stool …..” she replied.

Here she was, talking about her mind in third person and also immediately sitting to address its flaw and wrong way of thinking.

I came here to ask “You and I both do the same sadhan technique and yet why is there so much of difference in the results?” and wanted to argue and hurt her on so many levels. But with this simple incident she explained it all so clearly.

It is not about the technique. It was about its usage. Accepting our flaw and disowning the mind was the key to one’s growth and healing. Here I was ‘being adamant’ about ‘how right I was’ ALWAYS!  And yet, here she was even accepting her little mistake (that too just in thought and that too, a flowing thought…!).

She addressed it immediately. She didn’t own it. She didn’t support it. She didn’t make it her ego. And we didn’t take time to do even general healing – forget about healing thoughts and actions of the day!

I kept all my arguments with myself. I knew where I lacked and where I needed to work on. I left her place earlier than others. I had lots of healing to catch up with!

No point sitting there and listening to others and her talk. The point was ‘to heal’. How much we wrote down in our notes didn’t matter. I went home to heal!

Concluded.....

# on healing, day-to-day healings, awareness, alertness, attitude, character, flaws, ego,

Questions addressed :

  • What is love? How we miss out on seeing love because of our wrong definition of love?
  • How to address relationship problems - esp. in marriage?
  • Is your spouse or mil responsible for your problems in marriage?
  • Is divorce and re-marriage solution to your marital problem?
Points worth learning :
  • For us love is 'when we receive something that we demand - esp. in material form ONLY'. This definition reflects our selfishness. And yet, we based on 'our selfishness' go around telling one and all that the 'other person' is not 'loving and caring'. We call 'others' in our relationship bad, insensitive and not giving. How stupid are we?
  • By tolerating our abuse the other person still holds on to the relationship - if that is not love what is?
  • We are demanding and putting conditions on the other. And yet say we are 'suffering because of the other in the relationship'. How convenient is that!? No doubt we are never happy in relationships.
  • Our selfishness, being adamant and demanding are the root cause of problems in our relationship - not the other person. Know this, Accept this, work on this and heal this. ONLY then you are find happiness in life!

Me, My Guru – On receiving more or less!

Me, My Guru – On receiving more or less!

Today, I was more than usual angry. I wanted to shout at her. I wanted to argue with her. In short, I wanted to prove her wrong in every single way. I was prepared with my set of ‘logical arguments and case to prove’. I had to be prepared with her. She was ‘clever in giving examples and proving her point’. I hated her for that! But today, I was more than just prepared. I was smiling cheek to cheek as I entered her premises. The joy of ‘imagining her to lose to my arguments’ gave me the high that I couldn’t explain!!!

We sat down. We completed our routine and waited for her. She came with a smile and sat down in her seat. She didn’t even wait for us to say anything. She started giggling and started speaking “Guess what happened today!? I was sweeping today and I felt my back was good enough to bend today. And so, I bent more than usual under the bed to sweep. And lo! I hit my nose on ‘The foot board’ and wow what a feeling! I stood still for some time, laughed and continued my sweeping. I didn’t even wait to mop. I simply sat down to heal. I hurt my nose that means somewhere my ego had expressed itself in the wrong way. I was being a ‘showoff’. First I healed myself off my ‘ego’ and ‘need to showoff’. I also healed my ‘image’ that I was trying to build or keep up with. I then sat in meditation to see where I had done these things in the recent past. I healed that situation even though I couldn’t get to the exact situation.

Questions addressed :

  • How to use everyday situations and issues to better ourselves and our life?
  • What is it to be aware and alert in our day to day life?
  • Why doesn't Reiki stop me from being wrong even as I am doing it?
  • What to do when once I realize I am wrong or I had done something wrong?

Points worth noting :
  • Instead of asking questions as 'why this happened to me?' / 'why did this happen inspite of my healing? / when will this bad time end? / i just want to be happy and successful, why can't I? etc etc.... simply sit to heal every time you are hurt physically / emotionally / financially / psychologically or any other wise.....you would have used life and its issues to grow as a person. Over years you would have become stronger, fearless, balanced, successful, calmer, healthier, happier with good relationships and not to forget more beautiful too...........
  • Reiki is talking to use through our every facet of life. But the big question is 'Are you listening?'.
  • We can listen to Universe/Reiki/Guru talking and correcting us/ showing us the way ONLY when we silence our mind. If we can't silence our mind at least don't support it. Stop supporting it in its arguments and there bam! you find your answers and solutions staring at you. All you need to do is sit and heal the required area of your personality.

Mind - enemy or friend!

Mind - enemy or friend!

Our mind should be our slave. It was designed to be so. (This is already told and written so many times previously too!)

We associate our 'ego' with our mind. And yet are not cautious enough to 'mind' our mind correctly.

We are not aware of the games our mind plays.

Unless we know the strengths and weakness of our opponent (enemy) how can we even imagine to win against it?

We should know the rules the mind follows to beat it in its own game.

Logic is the 'weapon' mind uses to confuse us and keep us off the track. Beware of it! (Care to give some examples?)

One simple trick to help you use mind's weakness to your advantage is this - when you have some work that is boring, irritating simply tell yourself that you'll treat yourself to something that you desire after it is done.

Like for eg. you like talking to your mom/friend daily. Don't do that unless you complete the task of dusting or washing your dishes. Do this and tell your experience. Simple but very effective.

Instead of talking to your mom it can be reading a book/watching TV/ going or checking the social media/ listening to music etc.....

and

instead of dusting or washing it can be any work - household routine/office work or even sadhan....

hope it is clear..........

On bringing pain from future.........

On bringing pain from future.........

Further to https://kantipadam.blogspot.com/search?q=Just+do+that%21 .....

Read the article 'Just do that!' again to see and understand this continuation........

Some of you have given wonderful feedbacks. They did reveal something about us.

a.We love postponing our 'even' little jobs/daily routine works as much as possible.

b.We think it is too small to be bothered about. We don't give it a thought. We don't sit in meditation and try to find out the cause of it.

c. Result is - we end up thinking 'our irritation and anger' is because of some other member of the family who is not doing 'the work' which we are so regularly postponing doing.

d.We end up being angry with him. We end up fighting with them. We end up messing up our relationships and atmosphere of our house.

e. All this in the name of 'wanting the house to be clean'.

f. But if we only see the article - you'll see clearly that it took few minutes to complete the job that was 'supposed to be huge and boring' to me. That means we 'imagine' differently from the fact. What we assume is not true. We 'think bigger than real' ALWAYS!

g. In article I had written, when I put my mind to rest and simply started doing the job, it took hardly 15mts and lo! I was happy too.

We many times postpone doing jobs ASSUMING or THINKING  them to be hard/boring/ not to my like/etc etc.......but if and when we sit to work on them, it ends up being very simple and effortless......

think about it........

apply it to daily routine jobs....

and also can't we not apply to every situation in our life. We imagine our future to be something bad, ugly, frightful and what not. But it ends up being just fine - every time and yet....we do the same thing again and again......why?

Don't bring imaginary future pain into present. In the past you had wonderful healing experiences. Go through them. Collect your trust from them. Strengthen your trust from them. Now use that strength to face your present situation. Heal it, address it and have patience - do what is required and wait........let things fall in place as time unfolds......

all things will fall in place the right way at right time........

trust your trust.......

Do you have any previous post to support this thought?

do you have any experiences and understanding to go with this?
