Logic!

Logic at it's best!

Please go through the post dated 3/13/09. There's a video in it. Please see it more than once and get the sequence right. You will find it easier to follow the next post.......

It proves that you can't argue with the fools!

Logic in the fools hands can become fundamentally illogical!

All that is proved need not be right!

Sometimes even when it is proven by the majority, though you know you are right and they are wrong, you just can't beat them in their logic.....

When someone has decided to see the facts their way, you can't make them see the facts for what they are!

You are soul Divine!

You THINK you are human beings come here for spiritual experiences but no, you ARE spiritual beings come here for human experiences! You may not yet have realized this. You may not have yet experienced it. You may not have yet known it.. YET, BELIEVE and BEHAVE as if YOU ARE SOUL DIVINE, ETERNAL, PEACEFUL AND BLISSFUL!

My will and HIS will

GOD says "Tu karta woh hai jo Tu chahta hai par hota woh hai jo MEIN chahta hoon
tu kar woh jo MEIN chahta hoo fir hoga wohi jo tu chahta hai"

"You do what you want to do but things happen MY way
Do what I want you to do and things will happen your way"

you are lions not sheep!

…contd….

Now, before going further, let me explain the common allegation ‘madam, you never give straight answers. Why can’t you just say ‘yes’ or no’? Because you don’t want and won’t take it!

Suppose you ask me a simple question ‘should I marry this person though my parents are against it? And if I say ‘yes’ you would immediately say ‘but what about my parents? I don’t want to hurt them and I can’t loose them too! Please tell me what to do. Please guide me.’

Then I say ‘forget the boy and marry the one your family chooses’ you immediately say ‘no. I can’t forget him. I’ll never marry anyone else!’ so, now tell me will my simple ‘yes’ or ‘no’ solve your query. So, instead of saying what you ought to do, I explain what’s bothering you, what happens if you marry as per your choice or as per parents choice. I explain the benefits and loses in both the scenario and show you where your fear comes from. Then when you are shown the stakes and the consequences, you know what to do. You do it with conviction and are happy (atleast while taking decisions) and that is important.

Here, I said openly tell your Guru’s name and you came up with so many reasons and justification but didn’t follow it. Why? Because, humans by nature are not made to be ‘sheep following a shepherd blindly’. As much as few religions preach it, it is not practical. We can’t blindly follow a set or rules – be it given by family, master, kith or kin or society. We are given ‘freewill’ to choose by God and it is sin not to use it correctly. We are not using it rightly because of ignorance. We get caught in the situation and become emotional. We become emotionally blinded and hence can’t see the situation objectively. When an outsider gives you an insight of the same situation objectively and without any personal agenda, you know the pros and cons of doing an act and then you can decide how to act accordingly then. But remember, you decide. I can show the path, but walk you should. You are not dogs to be trained to behave in a certain way. You are divine souls who’ve right to experience the life the way you choose. Yes, you may choose the pain and suffering but that doesn’t negate your right to choose your experience and learning process. No one can question it or stop it. My job here is to tell or show the consequences of various choices that you make. Show you various possibilities with regards to your response to a situation, to expressing yourself and to act in accordance with your higher self.

Once you have your various options and their affect on you, your journey, I am sure it must be easier for you to take the call.

So, if you see through all the posts, the topics covered may be many but the common thread is just one – to help you see through the ignorance and win over your fear and there by realize that ‘you are the Divine Soul and to Act accordingly!’ (ofcourse, this doesn’t apply to topics of cosmology though. Except that all other topics come under this category and serve this one purpose only!)

To sum up, all our emotions and attitudes are interlinked and hence any attitude that comes to my notice through your comments, questions etc I immediately will notice and explain about it so that you work on it, overcome it and finally realize your potential – your Divinity. Remember, I am not interested in your acts, I am looking at the intent behind the act and ask you to sit in Sadhan. So do re-birth with ingratitude, fear of expression to overcome your fear.

So, please read once again all these posts regarding this topic and if any doubts, please come out with them now….it’s better to ask and to know. That way chances of you wanting to heal them is more.

how everything is interconnected?

…contd….

Did you understand now how a simple act of being grateful to your Guru and how voicing it affects your ‘Liberation’ or ‘Moksha’?

Looks too far stretched right? But, unfortunately nothing in this world is local or topical. Everything is interconnected.
As they say in telugu (language) theeganu laagithe dolla kadilinattu.

It means ‘pull at one end and the entire creeper is affected’.

We can go around justifying actions or inaction citing various reasons and examples but the fact remains that the basis of all emotions except that of Love and its expressions is fear and ignorance. Take any attitude or emotion. Be it hatred, envy, possessiveness, laziness, jealous – everything stems from fear only. Fear of losing something that we hold close to us like spouse, child, name, fame, money, success etc and fear of getting what we dislike like enemies, infamy, dishonor, ill-health etc. and both these fear stem from ignorance only. Ignorance that we are this body and we need to fight for our survival! This animal instinct generates fear in us. So, you see it’s a vicious cycle and hence this ‘samsara’ is called as ‘bhavasagara’.

Since, it’s a vicious cycle, to come out of it is very difficult and hence we take janmas to come out of it. But, that doesn’t mean that it always is so that, we are to take many janmas to come out free! No, once we decide and are strong in our intent, we can come out of it in a single janma too!

And hence I am asking you to do the easiest but very effective job of loosing fear of being vocal about your religious belief, Guru and your sadhan marg or path. As you’ve noticed, gratitude starts with I – my body, next my kith and kin, Nature and only then finally we come to Guru (read previous posts of this topic). That means in the circle of gratitude – Guru’s gratitude is the outermost circle and to go to the centre of bliss, we need to break the walls of fear. Fear of losing this body or this body getting hurt is the greatest of all fears. So, to overcome at the start is next to impossible. So, we work on the little fears first. And being vocal about our path of Sadhan is one of them. So, I suggested that you take your Guru’s name in public. You need not fight on his behalf. No need to prove that he is good, great or any such thing. But, when asked don’t hide. That’s all!

Purpose of giving

…contd….

1.      Highest of all giving is the giving away of knowledge of self – of Brahman. It’s the esoteric knowledge and very few are capable of giving. So don’t go there unless you’re well equipped in this field. Then how to do this ‘danam’ when I myself am ignorant of this knowledge? Simple! Facilitate in arranging of such satsangs. Arrange for such group meetings etc. Easiest is to introduce them to your Guru, Reiki or such of avenues which will give them know-how of their ‘soul consciousness’.

Yes, agreed I am grateful and am doing charity, but what’s the benefit I receive?

1.      Emotional satisfaction – you donate something on your birthday and then compare the happiness of partying with donating. I need not explain then. Do it today as ‘Trial run’ and feel the difference. Give just 5 packets of food and notice how your feel.

2.      We want so many things yet feel we have been denied of it. And the ‘Law of Karma’ states you didn’t deserve it. You are not worthy of it. What is the worthiness and how to increase it? This law simply means you didn’t give. You receive what you give.

So, by giving what you wish to receive you increase your worthiness. This is what is called as ‘Punya karma’ in spiritual language. In short by not giving much, you are not receiving enough and by giving more you receive more. But I already have everything that I need, so I need not donate, right?

Wrong. Yesterday’s good deeds have given you good and satisfying life today. But what about tomorrow? Your needs will still be the same. So, give more today as you already have enough to share to secure your future.

3.      This give and take philosophy and reason should be at the start of your donation but not throughout your life. If you are in sadhan regularly and working and checking on your attitudes, this platform from which you started to give changes. You no longer feel happy because you feel ‘great’ giving. You give because you have to. You slowly start living. “Do your karma but be detached’. You slowly loose the sense of doership over the period of time and hence no longer talk about giving away Rs.100 or Rs.500 to others. You give and forget. Your left hand will not know what your right hand has given. You grow as a person.

4.      Next, comes on understanding that there is no ‘you’ to associate the act with yourself. You no longer desire benefits of this ‘good act’ – be it a tag of being ‘a good person doing charity’ or a benefit of receiving goodies by way of luck or by way of reaping benefits of karma done. The one who gave you is Him and what He gave, part of it you gave to Him only. Because, the receiver though a begger is His manifestation only. So, He gives Himself. Where are you? Since, you didn’t exist in that act, you disown the fruits of this act totally. This state heals your karma beautifully. Beautiful because you stop reaping benefits of both good and bad karma and hence are existing in a state where you need to face the karma of past deeds only. Once exhausted, for not having created newer ones with the present karma or act you become ‘free’. You get ‘Moksha’ (liberated). Negating all karmas is the only key to reach that state of perfection. And this is the basis of ‘karma yoga’ – that a man can become free through his work and not be bound by it.

what to give?

…contd….

This story stuck with me since then. That lady still donates only food saying ‘it is ultimate of all ‘Danams’ i.e., charity which is true but I understood that ‘you receive what you give. Which means we just don’t need food. We require so much more in our life and hence we should give all that we need to receive them. Hence, am suggesting various forms of donations to you. If you notice all types of donations can be started with just Rs.50-100/- only. So, instead of fulfilling one need try to distribute your ‘money that you wish to distribute’ under various heads. It’s all in the planning. That’s all!

1.      Intellectual needs: all the donations that I talked about till now will not remove poverty from the man to whom you’ve give it. It only helps him in his existence. That’s all! Doesn’t mean it’s not necessary. It’s essential. But ‘give a fish to a man you feed him for a day. But teach him how to fish and you make him independent for life’. How to fish is the knowledge. If a street child or the one in orphanage is given or taught a skill or education, he’ll earn for himself. So, catering to someone’s education is far better than giving him food for life. If sponsoring child’s education is not possible then donate items required for education. Like pencils, notebooks, erasers, Braille papers for blind children etc. this is ‘vidhya danam’ which is highly meritorious. How’ll you receive it back? You’ll have a parent who’s ready to educate you. Never thought it was essential since you had a parent who sent you to school. I know so many parents (from good families only) who don’t want to give much of education especially to their girl children since they feel its waste. Next, you’ll be blessed with masters who’ll give you ‘good’ education. Your understanding capacity can be higher than others or average persons and that’s biggest of all returns.

2.      Share your know-how. Teach free if you can anything and everything you know. Be it subject like maths etc or vocational skills like cooking, language, carpentry etc. you can do individually or in some NGO. Share the know-how you know.

3.      Knowledge apart from being about material subjects can be also about perspective, clarity of thought, positive thinking and such related with better personality of a person. When such knowledge is imparted then it’s considered far better ‘danam’ (charity). For this, you don’t even need to spend a single pie. You don’t even need to spend a single pie. You need not take special time to go somewhere and teach. Spread this among your family, friends and neighbours. Use every conversation to show a difference and better perspective to others. This is exactly where talking about what your Guru said or says comes handy. You can quote your Guru and spread the good word. You can distribute books which better our perspective like Swami Vivekananda’s books to people around you. If you don’t like them, then go to some temple and distribute to people coming there. Go to places where Gita or Upanishad discourses is going on and even before the discourse starts, distribute your books at the gate itself and you can leave the premises too immediately. If you want to do that. There are lots of orphanages which don’t have much in library. If all the distribution makes you uncomfortable then give to these organizations. They’ll be glad and the children there will get some clarity. But remember not to give more than one copy of a book on a particular topic to such organization.
