Before looking into the various techniques and their desired effects of the ‘Sadhak’ let’s take a quick-view on the essential qualities of the Sadhak.

Commitment : To achieve anything a person requires to have a commitment. Moreso, if it is to beautify his life. Healing is nothing but an inward cleansing and a person should take personal responsibility of self-healing. And for that, qualities required are :

1. Perseverance to be in the path of self-healing till it is completely done.

2. Desire to do the work in the best possible way and to completely heal. No ‘chaltha-hai’ attitude.

3. Perfection is not humanly possible attitude/ belief system will not do. “Even to better the best and rest not till that best has been bettered” should be our motto. In short to be continuously striving towards perfection and working to update and upgrade that ‘perfection’ . It is all about dropping the ‘acquired self’ i.e, ego and realizing the real ‘self’’.

4. Patience is a greatest virtue. It is not great deal to achieve the victory but to have patience to work towards the victory – that really is a tough job.

5. Sadhan or self-study and self-healing calls for regular Sadhan. Being regularly irregular doesn’t help. One should be regularly regular in Sadhan to see results and to actually enjoy the growth- process.

6. How much one had read doesn’t count. A person who has practiced atleast one technique 1000 times is better off than a person who has read 1000 books or knows 1000 techniques of Self-healing.

How to develop all these qualities with simple techniques will be dealt with in the next post….till then take care, keep working on self and be benefited….

So true! Awareness, intention, will and perseverance with a desire to see it through helps one heal in the true sense. It took me a while to realize that one should chose to heal. And when I chose to take care of healing myself, I learnt there is so much I can do with a couple of techniques and I don’t need all of them ( atleast not at one go). Thank you for the article maam. It is beautifully written and has clear guidance.
