The best way to develop the qualities of discipline, perseverance, regularity and patience would be to make a commitment to follow atleast one ‘Niyama’ technique without fail every day.

1. Going for a walk say for ½ an hour everyday at the same time – come what may.

2. Doing Asanas or exercise compulsorily maybe again for atleast ½ an hr.

3. Do ‘Suryopasana’ daily atleast once without fail .

4. To do hands-on (24 points Reiki) everyday however hectic the day has been without fail.

5. Getting up at 3 am and do Japa 108 times daily (and go to sleep afterwards if need be).

6. Going to a certain temple daily at the same time, do atleast 11 pradakshana and chant some Mantra 108 times there.

Any of the techniques could be taken up for the start. It would slowly induce the qualities of commitment in us. Regularly doing it would become our habit. Say in 2-3 months results would be obvious for everyone to notice. We would feel a sense of achievement just by sticking to, one simple task regularly. We’ll learn to revolve or alter our entire day’s schedule around this commitment. It would be at our back of the mind to do this job ‘even today’. So, we’ll automatically learn to concentrate on a given task while going through the activities of life. This can then be handy in any aspect of life. We’ll be able to effortlessly concentrate on the work on-hand for longer periods of time too if need be.
keep smiling till i get back to you,
