Let’s see how inertia or lethargy reflects at various levels of our life.
A. At physical level – it comes out so obviously yet is so misleading and goes unnoticed. Confused? Well, simple! Take an e.g. of a person who shouts from roof tops saying he/she likes cleanliness or efficiency and so sits – mind you SITS and orders people around to do all the chores continously.
The most common weapon used by such people is guilt. They make a person feel in-efficient, good-for-nothing by continuously blaming them, finding fault with them and control them with guilt. All the time, mind-you, they themselves do very little except taunting, commanding, ordering, finding fault etc.
Their biggest complaint would be “I am so depressed, frustrated because of this person. This person hardly performs to the mark inspite of me continuously encouraging them, reminding them (which is always an order with a taunt!). I am breaking down ONLY because of this person.”
Most of the time, the work these people do is far below the mark.
They never attempt doing most of the things with the statement “Oh! But, I can do it better than them anytime, but, since I have to take care of managing these people, I can’t find time to do these little jobs.” Surprisingly, they get others to believe these statements too!
Infact, they pick up friends and their circle of people are also of similar mind set.
Many times they come out as obese persons.
Their place of residence/ work mostly is unkempt and untidy.
Their give away signs would be asking someone always to pick-up phones, open the door etc. In short, they make maximum effort not to get up from their place and get work done by others.
We’ll see how it works at emotional level tomorrow…..
This blog deals with self awareness under the light of knowledge. the knowledge would help us to drop the acquired self - ego and in the process we would be able to see our real divine self.
