Let’s see how to break the habit of lethargy by following simple techniques........
1. Go, get up and pick up the phone. Be the one to open the door when the door bell rings. Get up to switch on/off the TV get that glass of water on yourself, in short stop telling or requesting others to do small and simple work. DO IT YOURSELF!
2. Stop pitying yourself.
3. Start smiling and spread cheer around.
4. Stop using guilt to have control on the people in your life.
5. Follow the exercise regime. Go for a walk.
6. Start dusting the housing at least ½ hour per day and stick to it. Try to maintain cleanliness around you and your home.
7. Don’t do it in a single day, get tired and fall in your routine for next few years. Start slow. Maintain it regularly. Set aside say ½ or 1 hr or 1 day to clean-up the mess that you created/ are living in.
8. Don’t give excuses for not being disciplined. Set aside at least ½ hr at the start for “Sadhan” say, yoga/pranayamam/Reiki/ meditation and regularly follow the regime. Slowly increase the time for Sadhan.
