On comparison

…contd…..

But, let me also warn you, that by getting what you want you don’t guarantee happiness in your life. You can work for ‘getting what you want’. It’s called ‘being successful’.But,wanting what you have got is happiness. That can’t be worked out as being successful. This is a state of mind. And that’s got nothing to do with what one has or doesn’t have. Yes, I can vouch for that. Take any case and understand it!

Comparing Relatives – This one is very funny.

‘my sister is better than yours’

‘my eldest is not as talkative as the youngest’

‘my dog is not as good as his’

Stop doing this. You are killing the person you are comparing. And all religions preach only non-violence. People say ‘I am ahimsa-vadi because I am a vegetarian, don’t fight, don’t swear, don’t get in to arguments’. Good. But, that doesn’t make you non-violent person. If you’ve to practice non-violence, it has to be mental too! If you’ve hatred for someone, then you are committing ‘himsa’ mentally to him. You think, non one sees or knows it, so you get call yourself a good person. No, it doesn’t work out that way! If you are practicing ahimsa, you’ve to do it mentally too! Any negative energy that you generate for other is a ‘himsa’ you commit against him. That’s if a person can practice just being ‘non-violence’ honestly, he becomes a saint, realizes self, heals all of his karma even without practicing a single ritual or tradition – what-so-ever. It is so simple yet so difficult to practice! But, that shouldn’t stop us from practicing it. Just making an effort in that path come what may is a huge step – but ofcourse for that we should stop noticing others actions! If we question their wrongs and want to correct it, then anger would express itself and all over effort to practice non-violence would go down the drain. Nonetheless, practice it! Fail you may, yet put it to practice even if you can take few steps in this path, it’s worth it. So practice.

And the most important don’t for that would be ‘stop comparing’.

Me, my Guru – As you like it

Me, my Guru – As you like it

Today she didn’t wait to ask us questions. She went on with the explanation directly.

“You see in this world there are all types of people. The type of person that you are decides which type of person enters your life. Not only that every person has a good and a bad side. Your nature decides which side of his character he shares with you. So if you see only nasty and greedy part of people that is the side they will show to you. But if you see the good in them, they’ll show the good side of their side to you.

Be genuinely good to the world and you’ll receive good from the world.

Curse the world and the curses will come back from the world. Give love to the world and that love you will receive from the world!

You’ll receive what you give to the world. So follow the simple rule. Give what you desire from the people in your life and you’ll receive that from them.

Changing people in life will not make a difference in what you receive in life. Remember that!

You’ll receive what you receive here also there. If you want to change what you receive from people then change from within – for better! And before long you’ll start receiving all the respect, help and understand from one and all” so saying she left us for good.

Each one received the answer for the question that he carried with him that day. We had our issues and based on that we had our questions prepared.

“I want to end this marriage. I am not getting what I am expecting. Tell me what to do?”

on getting results!

On getting results!

If you are not getting what you want by doing what you are doing or have done it means just two things -

Either what you are doing or have done is not right enough

or

What you are doing and what you have done is not enough.

For eg: if you are doing say hands-on since 3 years and yet one wish of yours is not fulfilled then it means -

a. That you are not doing hands-on right - say like doing full body in just 20 mts (just an eg.) which will not be counted as full body in real way.....

b. Your wish has a requirement of 4 years of hands on and you have done just 3 years of hands on.

apply it for all the sadhan techniques be it pooja, japam, pranayamam etc........so either keep doing it for the stipulated time or increase the dosage to reduce the time.....

AND MOST IMPORTANT - No one here is your bonded labour waiting to carry out your orders of fulfilling your desire to its fulfillment........so stop holding others responsible to work for you....

Next, your anger towards Guru / Reiki / God will only delay your healing process........no one is here to please you after hearing your @#$%

SO MOST IMPORTANT WORK ON YOUR ATTITUDE AS YOU WAIT FOR YOUR TIME TO COME.......

Questions answered -

What I should do to get my desire fulfilled?

Why my pooja etc not showing results.......?

Me, my guru – on persistence to do right!

Me, my guru – on persistence to do right!

“Guruji, why do you keep repeatedly saying the same thing over and over again? People are not going to understand. They are adamant” said Aziz with lots of pain.

“No, they are both adamant and stupid Guruji. They won’t take what you want to offer them” said Rahul with lots of pain. He was one such rare student who didn’t come seeking or demanding anything from our Guru. For him just coming to ‘this place’ was enough of a return. He never talked or complained about his life. All his pain and suffering were centered around our Guru. He felt bad that others didn’t understand her teachings. He was angry that they didn’t even try applying them. He was frustrated that our Guru didn’t receive her due be it in kind or in cash. He was disappointed that she wasn’t valued enough. These really were a rare kind.

I knew their pain and yet I never crossed the line that separated them from me – like all other students.

# right and wrong, pleasing and right,

Request: Handful are the blessed souls who read not only the link given but also the links given in the posts found in the link. Bless those souls! I know they are already doing a great job for themselves, but, if they could just take a couple of minutes to share a thought or a word or two on the link that they read, it would be a great help to those who are not reading the complete link given (some don't read the link given at all!).
Others for short of time or interest would then be able to read at least the one post that is highlighted by the readers. As you benefit, also do a small job of being helpful to others......

Post pointers:

"They won’t take what you want to offer them” said Rahul with lots of pain. " - Can you just close your eyes and go through the time passed and see how many times this has happened. How many times you have not taken what is offered to you - be it some material gift, advice, affection or anything.
Material gift we reject saying "I don't like this colour etc or I don't want to take from this person". Then we complain that we don't receive affection, respect from the other. We also say that the other person is 'negative' and gives out negative vibes!!! Think about that.
Advice - We take only what we want to and from whom we want to. If the same is given from the person we dislike then we don't accept it. Good from any one should be embraced if you want to be happy, growing, receiving abundance, sensible and not want to suffer the same pain again and again.

"He was one such rare student who didn’t come seeking or demanding anything from our Guru. For him just coming to ‘this place’ was enough of a return. " - Look at these statements. It is not just a rare student quality but a rare human quality. The only one who has it knows what affection is, what love is. Only that person is genuine. Only that person is happy. Others call whatever they feel as a feeling of happiness. The one who doesn't seek anything in return gets it all! He is the one who knows to love and experiences love! All others just desire. They are driven but just lust!
When you love someone, just being with that person is enough. Getting expensive gifts, being comfortable in life etc don't matter. If and only if people understood that, then no one would suffer any relationship!
This is the secret of having "GOOD relationship" and being happy in any relationship.

"He was frustrated that our Guru didn’t receive her due be it in kind or in cash. " - Read this sentence once again. So many times we feel we are not paid right. We feel that we are not valued right. We are angry, frustrated, disappointed that our family and Company are not paying us our due respect, recognition and paycheck!
But, when it comes to paying others, we have excuses of 'not being able to pay' or 'she doesn't need it' etc. Everyone thinks he has paid 'right'. But no one does!
One who does will see return in every way come his way! You receive based on how and to whom you give!

(IF you don't understand any of these explanations do ask - and those who have understood do explain with some example for others to follow)

Me, My Guru – on keeping count in love

Me, My Guru – on keeping count in love

Today, the moment our Guru took her seat, she was bombarded with questions.

“Guruji, I’ve already done so much for my husband and my mother-in-law. Shouldn’t they be returning it to me? I no longer want to give. I hate them for all the pain I am undergoing because of them”.

“Even I’ve done so much to my company and yet my salary – they pay me in peanuts. I hate them for exploiting me so”

“I did pooja worth Rs.’X’ and yet my desire is not fulfilled. I hate God!”

“I did japam (chanting) mantra that you suggested ‘n’ number of times and yet I am not healed. How long do you want me to do this chanting?”

There clearly was anger evident in every question posed. They said “but, we are asking questions maam” but they weren’t questioning. They were ‘accusations’ in the guise of questions. They – or rather we all dumped our anger, frustrations and hatred on her. And we still called her Guru!? Therein lay flaw in our attitude and actions. This was the flaw that drew our ‘karma’ to us. And yet we thought she was responsible for our pain and suffering?!*

Tips to understand the post better :

*(!? = wherever this mark is, understand it as ‘both question and exclamation)

And yet we thought she was responsible for our pain and suffering?! - see this closely! You’ll see how we wrongfully dump our negative energies on the person who ‘doesn’t’ have anything to do with it in the first place. How would you feel about a person who driving his car fast causes mud to fall on you – you who are standing by the road?

Therein lay flaw in our attitude and actions. This was the flaw that drew our ‘karma’ to us. And yet we thought she was responsible for our pain and suffering?! - Many times we are angry at someone or something and we take it out on the other. Usually this other is the spouse, parent -especially mother, our children - Why? Because somehow we take them for granted. Our children can't shout back at us and so we use them to dump our negativities on them when we get back home. And then we justify saying 'I had such a bad day at office and i was having splitting headache..so when the kid came didn't do homework i shouted..' Issue is very simple but we burst out at the simple excuse because we couldn't address and handle our emotions of our office or personal life the right way...

Don't take mother, spouse, Guru, God or some one who is ONLY wanting good for you as your punching bag. Treat them right. What you give to the person who loves you comes back from the person who has power over you....you are getting what you have given - always remember that!

That doesn't mean 'you stop giving negativity because of it coming back.' Understand it right! You are hurting the person who is standing by you at all times as doormat or punchbag and that is bad. Think about it! And so, you shouldn't want to give that to the person who loves you, supports you and wishing good for you!!!

Me, My Guru

“God! When will I become like you” I blurted out aloud. “And pray, what does that mean” asked my Guru. “I wish I was as calm and as poised as you are. I want to be emotionally strong and balanced like you. I want to be fearless like you” I replied. I had felt so almost from the time I met her. I had always wanted to be ‘her’. Those who admired her also admired her for the same – I felt. Though many times, they didn’t realize the reason to be so. And today when I saw her facing someone with unexplainable amounts of hatred with a smile and calm in every inch of her persona. I couldn’t but say so.

“In that case” she said picking up a stone on the path and placing it along the side of the walk “ask as ‘I want to be balanced at all times”.

“But, that’s exactly what I said” I replied confused.

“No, you didn’t. You asked, “I want to be balanced like her. And I am saying let the prayer/ wish be “I want to be balanced.”

“So, where’s the difference?” I asked still not getting what she meant. “When you say “I want to be balanced” you become balanced. But, if you ask, “I want to be balanced like her” you’ll attract the situations of my life too and that I don’t want you to face. I don’t wish you walk my path” she replied calmly.

“You always say ‘every situation in life is instrumental in making or shaping you. That way, those situations in your life are responsible for who you are. That means, if I go through the same journey, I would end up being you” I implored.

I thought I finally cornered her with a question using her own words. I waited or her reaction......

Me, My guru – On keeping healthy

Contd....

Me, My guru – On keeping healthy

Pointers to understand this post:

“Guruji, we know the list of do’s and don’ts to keep ourselves healthy. Eat right, exercise, maintain cleanliness and have food, sleep and wake up at the right time – these are some of them. But, can you give us a simple easy for anyone to follow technique that could decrease the chances of us falling sick regularly” asked Vaishnav” – This is one common mistake by most who want to grow especially in spiritual field. They THINK they know and ask to be told other than what they actually know! Sad on so many counts! A person who actually learns, adapts, grows and benefits is the one who sits, listens and asks with emptiness. He doesn’t come with the baggage of “knowing” anything. He listens with  open mind. He listens with an empty mind.

others'“We all laughed. He always asked such questions. He wanted quick-fix solutions.” – Very often it is seen that we find it easy to find fault in others. We laugh at others' shortcomings. But, when others do the same with us, we get angry, hurt and carry grudge.

Forget others’ faults. Stop looking at them. If you REALLY want to progress in the path towards your growth and happiness, then look for flaws only in yourself. Look within and outgrow them as and when you notice them. Work on your short-comings. Leave the flaws of others for themselves.

“Just that?” asked Vaishnav surprised.” – Even when we get what we asked for, we don’t seem to be happy about that. Do you know why?

Remember, we always get what we seek, what we ask and what we search for. So, know what you want and ask for and be very sure about that!

If one is not happy even after getting what he asks for, then how can one be happy ever?

“You wanted a simple solution right?” asked our Guru.” – You get what you ask for! So, beware!

Few FAQs with Guru

Few FAQs with Guru

(S – stands for student and G- stands for Guru in this post)

Words of Wisdom ~ Spiritual Awareness

S – How come you don’t answer few questions?

620 Leadership Quotes That Will Make You Feel Unstoppable
G – I answer all questions? Even ‘not answering’ is an answer. You don’t take it as you don’t want to hear it. You expect me to give the answer that you seek and hence can’t hear my ‘not answering’ as an answer.

S – What does it mean?

Lindsay Wagner Quotes | QuoteHD
G – It depends. Sometime it may mean, question is redundant and doesn’t deserve an answer. Like ‘is it not hot today?’ or ‘Should I not do this?’ Answer is already in the question for first type of question and yet you ask. There you don’t seek an answer as you already know it. You just want to make a sound as you are not comfortable with the silence around you and you wish to make noise.

Every time, while teaching, I would have given the answer as to when to do and how to do any healing. And each answer is given more than once for sure! And yet you ask, not because you don’t remember the answer or don’t know the answer – but because you want to go against what I already told you to do – say ‘don’t heal this way etc’. Why you do is something that you need to understand yourself. They are not questions in any way. They are just your ways of seeking attention. How do you expect me to answer that? Think!

Quotes about Success : A fully conscious Divine Feminine energy ...
Next some questions are no questions. They are just accusations in the form of questions like “but is not a Guru supposed to give or do? Isn’t it?” What do I answer for that? How do I answer that? It just reflects your demands, character flaw, nature, expectations and what not! So being silent I take your invalid, illogical and ill-based accusations that come in the form of seeking answers or clarifications.

And for very many questions - I don’t lie, and I can’t or shouldn’t tell the truth. So, I keep mum. Thus, the reasons are many for not answering.

S – Don’t you get angry the way students treat you at times? How do you deal with it?

# Questions and reply, receiver and giver,

Questions addressed and points to be taken :
  • Even 'not answering' is an answer. If you don't like it, the problem is in you, not in the giver.
  • What makes the person 'not give an answer' in the first place when the question is posed? Have you thought about it?
  • We jump to our emotion of being hurt or getting angry at the person who didn't answer us. But do we look within and check our intention, validity of our question, sense in our question to see where we were wrong in the first place?
  • Demands are 'considered' or treated as 'questions'. Demands don't warranty as questions.
  • "Should you not be giving it?" though looks like a question is actually a demand put forth. And that demand is considered as an entitlement. We can dream, wish, pray - but all that doesn't entitle us to our wishes.
  • Why sometimes a question is not answered or addressed?
  • Beggars cannot be demanding! Isn't it?
  • Those who seek favours can't be in the demanding position. Can they? Think about it!
  • If you hate or angry with above two sentences and law then outgrow that stage. Work towards becoming 'less and less dependent' on external things. Work towards freedom from 'desires'. Work towards freedom from suffering!
