Me, My Guru – on keeping count in love
It was here that he heard the milkmaids talk. He found his answer and solution. “Even a simple village girl knows how to love!” she doesn’t keep count of the milk that she gave her lover. For that girl even little money matters. And yet, she does not keep trail of ‘how much milk her lover had drunk”. She knew how to love. Such purity in love! Such simplicity in conduct! Such clarity in her vyavahara (loosely translated it is behaviour). If that is her conduct in love with a mortal, how much more better should mine for my lover be who is the ‘Ultimate lover – God!’?” so saying he returned into the jungle to resume his tapas (penance). Our Guru left to attend her personal calls.

Tips to understand the post :
“Even a simple village girl knows how to love!” she doesn’t keep count of the milk that she gave her lover." - We assume we need to learn from the rich, famous and the learned to love and live life perfectly. But that 'knowledge' isn't taught in any business school. It comes from the purity in intent, character and innocence. Many a times, love is lived by simple people for they are simple in character. With 'the mind that knows to think and be smart' comes cunningness in character that we are proud of as 'intelligence'. And that intelligence and that mind of ours robs us of the ability to love and be loved....
"It didn’t ‘seem’ bad but was not doing them any good." - Not sharing is not a bad attitude. And yet it slowed our learning and decided on our growth. See that with open eyes! Look into it! Meditate on that! A simple act like sharing can make so much difference in your self and healing happens in so many ways - just like that! And yet, we stop ourselves from doing that! At least, do you know why you do so? Don't justify your nature/act/ behaviour.....instead, sit in meditation and question it.....
