Me, My guru - on capacity of love!
The talk was on death that day and One among
us said “Guruji, I can’t imagine my life without X in my life. I love X so
much. I would die without X!”
Someone immediately blurted out “Koi Martha
nahi kisi ke ishq mein,
Bas yadein katl karthi hai kisht kisht mein..”
कोई मरता नहीं किसी के इश्क़ में बस यादें क़त्ल करती हैं किश्त किश्त में
No one dies in love
It’s the memory that kills the person little
by little…
And our Guruji even without as much as waiting
for a second replied
“koi ishq ke naam Taj chod jaata hai,
Aur koi khudh ko mitane ke samaan dhoodh letha
hai
Ishq to ishq hai
Wo tho karne waale pe hai ke
Use ibaath bana de ke sharaab khaana…”
One leaves behind Taj (Taj mahal) in the name of love
And the other finds ways to mess up his life (by becoming a drunkard)
Love is love
it’s the lover who decides
to convert that into a worship or a means to
his destruction….
(to take up love as worship or to demean
it to a status of lust…)
She said it casually. But it held answer to
each of our pain and suffering. We all took as we wanted to. In each and every
situation of life, we took it to break us or make us. It entirely depended on
us. She gave answer to one person. But in that one answer she answered all – if
one would want to. The rest as they say is history….
