This blog deals with self awareness under the light of knowledge. the knowledge would help us to drop the acquired self - ego and in the process we would be able to see our real divine self.

On happiness!
Being happy doesn't mean everything's perfect.
It means you've decided to see beyond the imperfections.
It means you've decided to be happy inspite of situations....
It means you have agreed and understood that we can't have control over our situations and events of life....but we can control our emotions and responses......it just means we have decided to take our lives in our hands ......we have decided to 'become free from the environment that dictates our well-being!!!!!

What are we?
The Path!
And the boy died of a fever whilst the physician stood by.
The mother was distraught with sorrow and she asked the physician “What killed my son?”
And the physician answered “It was fever.”
And the lady asked him “Pray, what is fever?”
The physician answered “It is a thing so small that we can’t see it with our naked eyes and it gets into our body and kills us.”
Some time later, a philosopher entered her house to console her and said “Don’t you cry your heart out. It’s the will of the God that your son be dead.”
She was surprised and asked him “Now, where is God and how does he look?”
He smiled and said “He is so vast that he can’t be seen with our eyes”.
The woman blurted out “the infinitely small killed my son with the will of the infinitely great. Then what are we?”
An old lady sitting there pulled the woman near her and looked into her eyes lovingly and replied “My child, we ourselves are the infinitely small and infinitely great; and surprisingly we are the path between the two too!”
Many times we feel caught between the unnecessarily small details and the magnanimous reality. Then, the confusion reigns our life. We don’t know what to choose - The small nothings or the unimaginable and unknown great. Instead, if only we were AWARE, we would know we are both the small and the big.
We can fall to any lows for what so ever be the reason and it is the same we who can choose to exhibit our greatness.
We can choose to feel helpless and hopeless. We can also choose to project our grandeur through our achievements and our character.
We can both be a failure and a success story.
We can get suck in the quagmire of events or rise from the ashes like a phoenix. (Phoenix is a mythological bird that is supposed to come to life from its own ashes).
We are the demon and we are the God too…..Now, the classical question is what do we choose to be?
And the best part of the whole exercise is that we are the path too! The path that helps us to cross over from our failure to success, from demonic to angelic character and from infinitely small to omnipotent and omnipresent. But, what we choose to be decides our path, our destination and along with it our experiences.
Always ask the question, “Does this act of mine belittle my fullest potentiality?” if the answer is “yes” then I am committing a sin. The next question to pose would be “Am I acting in line with my grandeur character?” if the answer to this question is “yes” you are pure and divine.
With this awareness, go ahead and CHOOSE how you wish to project yourselves in the world and for yourself.
May your higher self help and guide you ever in making the best possible choice for yourself………

Simple tips!
Are we living or ageing?
Putting days into life is ageing. Putting life into days is growing. Ageing or growing is not a an annual phenomenon, but an everyday process. Days when one is not doing anything productive are the days when one just ages. How to put life into days and keep growing? A human being is a multidimensional personality and each of these personalities has its own needs. The physical need is to Live, the mental and intellectual need is to learn, the emotional need is to love and to be loved, and the spiritual need is to 'leave a legacy'. Ensure that every today of your life you address each of these needs, and put life into your today's and grow everyday of your life.
To Live: Exercise your body every day: 1-hour to the body and 23-hours of healthy and fit living.
To Learn: Develop the habit of reading inspirational books and also read scriptures in a language you understand. Learn a new proficiency every year. Let no day end without food for your mind and intellect.
To Love: In small acts and ex-pressions of love, life is made. Visit a friend who is down in spirit. Erase someone's guilt by calling them voluntarily and let them know that you are not carrying the hurt. Visit your teacher when it is not a teachers day. Lend your car to your driver on his wedding day and let him enjoy the privilege of taking his wife on the car. By your care and affection let someone forget that she is an orphan at least for today. The ex-pressions of love are limitless. Find your way today and let your heart melt in love everyday of your life.
To leave a legacy: With passing of every night, a day would pass away and so will your life one day. Your life could end, but your contributions to this planet should transcend your life. Plant a sapling and water a tree. Create a system that will outlive your tenure in the organisation, sponsor someone's education, create an award in the school that you have studied, befriend someone with suicidal instincts and transform him, wipe out the word solitude from someone's life. We all would go, but let us leave behind the spirit of our contributions in this world.
Stop ageing and start growing. Life is to live, to learn and to leave a legacy.
Being Successful is not about amassing more than needed by us. It is not being above the crowd too! It is the act of Creation. Creation that touches someone's life beautifully and has added more meaning, sense and joy to it. It doesn't require even a paisa of yours. It requires your self - that self that goes beyond ME. Are you ready to leave behind a part of yours - as a creation in the world.
I believe success is leaving behind a road that is little more beautiful and little less thorny than it was when i walked passed it. Have I added beauty to the road i walked on? Have i removed atleast few thorns as i walked the road....take this opportunity to bring that beauty around you for you never know - kal ho na ho!

What does God do?
Inspite of doing Reiki and praying to God, we may find ourselves in a situation that is not acceptable to us or that is not to our taste. The one question that rises that time is "When i don't see things working my work, how do i know that Reiki is working?"
"If things are to happen the way they have to, then why at all should i do reiki? Would i not be better off without reiki too? "
well, what can i say? just read the story and pick your answer....
A man came home from work and found his three children outside, still in their pajamas, playing in the mud, with empty food boxes and wrappers strewn all around the front yard.
The door of his wife's car was open, as was the front door to the house and there was no sign of the dog. Proceeding into the entry, he found an even bigger mess. A lamp had been knocked over, and the throw rug was wadded against one wall. In the front room the TV was loudly blaring a Cartoon channel, and the family room was strewn with toys and various items of clothing. In the kitchen, dishes filled the sink, breakfast food was spilled on the counter the fridge door was open wide, dog food was spilled on the floor, a broken glass lay under the table, and a small pile of sand was spread by the back door. He quickly headed up the stairs, stepping over toys and more piles of clothes, looking for his wife. He was worried she might be ill, or that something serious had happened. He was met with a small trickle of water as it made its way out the bathroom door. As he peered inside he found wet towels, scummy soap and more toys strewn over the floor. Miles of toilet paper lay in a heap and toothpaste had been smeared over the mirror and walls. As he rushed to the bedroom, he found his wife still curled up in the bed in her pajamas, reading a novel. She looked up at him, smiled, and asked how his day went. He looked at her bewildered and asked, 'What happened here today?' She again smiled and answered, 'You know every day when you come home from work and you ask me what in the world do I do all day?'
'Yes,' was his incredulous reply. She answered, 'Well, today I didn't do it .'
When he is doing, we would never know that...... do we need to see the unkempt and undone life of ours to understand his working? what are we asking for when we say or ask such questions as how do i know that reiki is working? Think, think about it....may be i am sending a message to the nature which would be painful once it is fulfilled......
Take a pause.......think..........
may reiki bestow you with clarity to understand the intricacies of its and nature's functionality.........
may you be blessed with better understanding........

Miracle......
A little girl went to her bedroom and pulled a glass jelly jar from its hiding place in the closet. She poured the change out on the floor and counted it carefully. The total had to be exactly perfect. No chance here for mistakes.
Carefully placing the coins back in the jar and twisting on the cap, she slipped out the back door and made her way six blocks to Rexall's Drug Store with the big red Indian Chief sign above the door.
She waited patiently for the pharmacist to give her some attention, but he was too busy at this moment. Tess twisted her feet to make a scuffing noise. Nothing. She cleared her throat with the most disgusting sound she could muster. No good. Finally she took a quarter from her jar and banged it on the glass counter. That did it!'And what do you want?' the pharmacist asked in an annoyed tone of voice.
'I'm talking to my brother from Chicago whom I haven't seen in ages, said the pharmacist without waiting for a reply to his question.
'Well, I want to talk to you about my brother,' Tess answered back in the same annoyed tone. 'He's really, really sick ... and I want to buy a miracle.'
'I beg your pardon?' said the pharmacist.
Tess smiled. She knew exactly how much a miracle cost ... one Dollar and eleven cents ... plus the faith of a little child.
In our lives, we never know how many miracles we will need.
A miracle is not the suspension of natural law, but the operation of it………..
Miracle is a way of life – but the question is “Am I Aware?”
It happens every moment – but the question is “Am I ready to validate it?”
It occurs in every one’s life – but the question again is “Am I sharing with one and all as I share my pain?”
God is every where and is operating through so many forms. But the big question is “Am I Aware?”
When we wake up from sleep, we become aware of the fact that out of ordinary is not the only miracle that’s packaged in my life. Miracle is happening in every normal and mundane things and routines of life too……….Am I Available to it?
Think, think……….and then live and experience it………

Guru
First and foremost – we don’t select a Guru. Guru selects and accepts us as a disciple.
Next most important question is Guru’s qualities is the last thing that I need to look into if I am a true student /shishya. It’s the student whose attitude should be of a disciple and a seeker. Now what does that mean? It means a disciple should have the essential qualities of :
1. The never-die attitude of wanting to learn and unlearn all that he knows at every stage of his growth.
2. He should for the start drop the ego’s “But I already know this/heard it /red it, but just not able to apply…..” attitude. This is the most biggest tumbling block in the learning possibility of a student.
3. Surrender. Should be able to surrender to the Guru’s word and Command totally without a blink of an eye. Most difficult because of ‘I don’t want to lose my identity to get anything in return’ attitude.
4. Believe in guru’s word and intention without an inch of doubt. Belief that says Guru can do only good for me.
5. Do as the Guru asks you to do and not do as the Guru does – the most important one to follow.
6. Listen to Guru from emptiness and then imbibe all that is received from guru into one’s system.
Once having selected a Guru, who benefits the most from him? What is the best that can be had from a Guru?
It’s undoubtedly his Grace. Once, that is received then there is no looking back for that person. But, the grace necessarily need not benefit a seeker in physical, emotional or in financial betterment at all.
They may come as a by-product of Guru’s Sanidhyam – that is proximity. Here, proximity need not again mean physical proximity. The nearer you are the more you are thinking of your Guru, the more you are connected to him. So, thoughts connect you more to your Guru than sitting near him or for that matter any other thing in the world. So, always stay connected.
You receive what you seek from the Guru. If it’s physical and tangible benefits that you seek, that you’ll receive. If it’s intangible then that’s what you would receive. But, seek the best and the most treasured – His love and grace which is so rarely asked for itself. It takes you to Moksha and liberates you from the ignorance that binds you to the cycle of Karma.
Sometimes, because of past Karmas we may come across a Guru in our life, but our present attitudes and actions may take us away from his grace and proximity. The qualities that do this job effortlessly are complaining about Guru, asking and telling Guru how to be and by being jealous of you master /Guru.
Most cheapest of all characters certainly would be being jealous of a person who’s shown you the way to come out of all of your problems. But, instead of feeling and wishing good for him, if one is jealous of his Guru – then well, what do I say of such a person? Even devils would disown him.
The Most easiest to stop would be not being jealous of your Guru and next stop finding fault of your master. A student and his master are completely at two totally different platform which a student with his limitations can’t see or understand. Why a master does what he does or does not do what he doesn’t do can’t be understood by a student whose perception is always “I” driven. It’s not just difficult but impossible to gauge the Guru’s intention and purpose of doing or not doing something. So, just Do as the Master asks you to, don’t do as the Master does.
The student who is innocent is always nearer and receives the grace of his Master with no effort on his side. His mere innocence bestows Master’s grace onto his life. So, Drop the pseudo-logic and pseudo-intelligence if you wish to benefit from your Master’s presence in your life.
May the grace of the Master be ever on you……….

On cheating.........
cheating is done at various levels.
Physical : Any act of stealing, lying fall under this category. Do we come under the category of a thief? Certainly not – would be the answer. Let’s look into the definition of a thief and then answer this question with all honesty. Thief is “Anyone who takes a thing without the intention of returning it back and also without the permission and knowledge of the owner is a thief.”
Whenever we pay less knowing fully well that we are doing so and taking advantage of others gullible nature and feeling happy too for having fooled the other clearly puts on the level of a cheater. We may name it as a prank, fooling for fun or our own smartness. But, the bottom line is we have cheated. What needs to be given but delayed or forgotten also comes under this category. Debts not payed in the guise of ‘forgotten’ also falls into this category.
Anybody can get away from debts by telling lies or excuses. But the nature can’t be fooled. Usage of words like surrender can’t be used for debts. For eg: they say “I have surrendered to Reiki. When Reiki gives me money to pay you/them, I’ll pay you/them. It is Reiki which is stopping me from clearing my debts to you/them.” Whom are they fooling? Did they ask Reiki while spending money or borrowing it? Are they not spending in any of the purchases? They do go about their life as normal as ever – in fact better than ever. But, only when it comes to paying debts they talk all this non-sense. When it is purchase for self, they don’t ask their spouse or reiki. But, while it is paying debts, “I am not able to pay because of my husband. He is not giving etc….”. think……..
This is the most common way we try to postpone paying our debts. But, by telling lies, we are actually increasing our karma clearance and postponement only means increase in the interest part of it. The more, we postpone the more is the interest. Unfortunately, while paying, we forget the interest part and pay only the principle and consider ourselves as good people who have cleared everything. But, what about the delayed payment. Payment delayed is payment denied. The same is felt by us. Our payment or receipts are overly delayed and then we feel the pinch and complain saying it shouldn’t be so. But, the sad story is we don’t even realize then that we are getting what we have given to others. Whenever others debts are realized, we feel bad that they seem to get lots of money. We even say ‘ what if it’s delayed, you always seem to get all the money due to you’. But, when we receive salary/payments due to us few days later, we crib, complain, curse and taunt the person who owes us. This nature is the basis for faulty financial receipts in our life.
Whenever we break the trust, even there we are cheating…the pain is again received by us from our near and dear ones….then, don’t complain.
Cheating at spiritual level is much more subtle but more deeper and creates much denser karma.
1. Guru ninda – saying anything against one’s guru is the topmost of this cheating.
2. No guru can be taunted at…. One who respects one’s mother just can’t disrespect anyone’s mother. So too, one who respects one’s master/guru can’t /shouldn’t resort to spreading ill words of any master / guru.
3. Addressing someone by the term ‘master’ or ‘guru’ and such terms only to please them, flatter them and with the only view of gaining material benefits from them also is a form of cheating.
4. Sitting to judge/ analyse any master/ guru also falls under this category.
5. Hurting one’s master /guru also takes you away from his grace.
And many such acts develop this character in us.
As we are hurting, cheating and manipulating with our masters / gurus, are we aware of the tilt in the balance sheet of life. Wake up. Take care of your senses. Be on guard.
By cheating we may gain short term and lose the most precious of all gifts from nature and God – that is master’s/ guru’s grace. Grace is something which has to be experienced and also simultaneously realized. It’s the one that keeps the person from fumbling in the deep sea of life and protects us during the storms that reign in our lives. It can’t be measured. It is immeasurable. Person who’s got it, but still unable to realize the greatest treasure of this world is the most pitiable person in the world. Now, what can I tell of the person who’s got it and then lost it out of his greed and nature of cheating? Even God can’t save such a person.
गुरु गोविन्द दोनों खड़े, काके लागून पाऊँ
बलिहारी जाऊं गुरु आपने, गोविन्द जो दिखलाई
If guru and govind both come and stand in front of me at a time, i would be confused as to whom i should salute first. but, very next second i would know that it's guru whom i should salute first as he is the one who's shown me the lord too.... Kabir
If God also can’t save, then why should I think this blog should?............better wake up now before it’s too late…..

On cheating.......
Parasurama taught him with lots of love and poured all his knowledge onto his favourite sishya – Karna. One day, when Karna had learned all that he had to from his Guru, Parasurama complained of tiredness. Immediately Karna offered his lap as a pillow to his Guru and let him go to sleep. Parasurama was deeply touched by his student’s guru bhakthi. When he was sleeping, a scorpion came from nowhere and started biting Karna’s lap. Inspite of intense pain, he did not move an inch lest his movement disturbed his Guru’s sleep. Blood started oozing and the cold blood broke his Guru’s sweet sleep. On seeing the amount of blood that was oozing from Karna’s lap, Parasurama was totally confused. He killed the scorpion and then turned towards Karna angrily and said “Any person who can bear this much of intense pain can’t be a Brahmin. You surely are a Kshatriya. Why did you lie to me?” with no chance of escape available, Karna told the entire truth.
Parasurama was indeed very hurt and angry too. He cursed karma saying “You lied to me with the greed of acquiring this knowledge which is so dear and divine to me. Knowledge should always be received and given with purity. Any amount of impurity taints the receiver. Since, it is for this knowledge that you cheated on me, I curse you that it becomes null and void when you need it the most in your life.”
Karna was aghast. His pleadings did not move his Guru who was totally heart broken. During the war of Kurukshetra, Karna’s wheel gets stuck in the mud and as he get’s down the chariot to lift the wheel he is killed by Arjuna. His Guru’s curse had come true. The purpose of learning archery was to proclaim to the world that he was the best archer in the world and he could beat Arjuna any day in his life. But, it was unfulfilled.
Tomorrow is 7th July 2009 and it is Guru pournami. Let’s recheck our values with regards to our Masters and Guru’s honestly for once. Let’s also recheck our values and ethics with regards to honestly with one and all.
People always feel great having cheated on people who trust them. They feel they have made a fool of others. They have got away with it too. But, what they don’t understand and see is their own future. When, in the moment of sheer desperation, they are left with knowledge that doesn’t seem to work (infact, it doesn’t work then…) and with people who don’t help – on the contrary with the people who are going to create more problems in the already problematic situation. Then, they curse their fate and go around stating that someone’s black magic or buree nazar (curse) has brought about this ill-fate in their life. What they don’t tend to see is that it is their own doing that has brought this ill-fate in their life. They think they are very smart when they are using words as surrender to get away with their bad and wrong intentions.
What are the give-aways of cheating?
Why do we cheat? Whom all do they cheat?
What are the repercussions of cheating?
What are the benefits I get when I am not cheating?
Think, think on these issues till I get back to you all……..

MIRACLE..............!
RECALL THE REIKI MEET ONCE AGAIN!
