If you are a house-wife, put your best foot forward there. Be your best self! Don’t expect others to notice that.  Neither for appreciation nor for love of others! Be so, for it fulfills you. Do your ‘Dharma’ with total honesty and that itself will give you the freedom, joy, purpose of life that you so much seek and look searching for!

You may be a student, nurse, tailor, businessman, homemaker or a writer. Give your best and keep pushing your boundaries by way of increasing your ability, talent, workmanship and passion. Why - you may be just washing your bathroom but still give it your all!

Throw yourself into this ‘dharma yagna’ and come out a pure, satisfied and fulfilled soul!

                                     

Work out your destiny through your work!

Transcend your karma through your work!

You’ll discover ‘the purpose of your life’ as you work on your excellence in any field that you are in.

Never accept mediocre work or attitude from self. Stop not till you make it – any work the best. Upgrade your skills. Update yourself! And lo! Your life has a purpose, meaning, fulfillment an above all ‘Dharma’ in it and that is the door to ‘freedom to karma’. 

                                        

Know that the complaining person, one who is angry with work, one who looks only at the returns faces failure more often than not. He finds problems one after the other in his work situations. No successful person ever bothered for results. He was into giving his best to the job. Go through any success story.

                                   

One who is complaining about job, dissatisfied in job, doesn't love will give to job much below what he is capable of giving. That is stealing. Yes, when we are not giving our 100% that amounts to stealing ourselves of our capabilities as we are undermining our potential and that way it is harmful to us. It harms our character too over the period of time in all aspects of life and that is very dangerous.

                                         

But one who worships work will find success after success. He need not go after fame and riches. They come searching for him.

See your talent or ability as the ticket that takes you till North Pole. Would you stop travelling after just travelling for 200 kms?  Only fools would think that way! When you have ticket till a destination, why would you cut short your journey? Similarly, when you are capable of giving 100%, why stop yourself from giving it all just because you are looking at the returns from the Company / relationship / Country / self?

Points to think about :

• Every crooks and criminals earn money. People with no ethics too earn lots of money. But the person who has character and becomes successful earns also lots of people whom he can trust and share his joys with. He has lots of real friends who are ready to lay their lives for him. He has contentment, peace and security by way of good relationships.             

Today's miracle :

I saw moon in all its brilliance. Sky was completely clear and dark blue sky as back ground, the moon looked beauty ultimate! Wished to lie in the open like in good old days of my childhood.........

What are the qualities needed to right and walk this path of ‘Dharma’?

Two qualities – honesty and trustworthiness.

                                  

Every time you process your thoughts, you take a decision, you take up a challenge, ask yourself – am I living up to the ‘trust’ placed on me?

                                   

If your decision, actions, intentions, desires and character is woven around this one word – trustworthy then, know you to be living by ‘Dharma’ at least as far as that person or office is concerned!

                                             

Be honest unto yourself! Look within and find if you are giving your 100% in every work, relationship, attitude like gratitude etc. Only when you are honest with yourself can you give your 100% in that work or relationship. As long as you give less than 100%, know dishonesty is playing it’s part and you need to address that first.

                               

Look not for support. Look not for help. Raise yourself from the lofty levels! Raise yourself by being responsible. Be trust worthy! Let honesty be your key word. Honest unto yourself. Not because someone would notice, because you know!

                                    

That is ‘Dharma’ and there is your ‘Dharma’.

Are you trustworthy as a son / spouse/ parent / sibling /friend / citizen / neighbour /staff?

Start by being trustworthy to at least one person. Live it completely and assimilate that into your system. Now spread it to other relationships.

Just doing this, even without knowing or understanding ‘Dharma’ in toto, you can live it effortlessly!

May you walk the path of ‘Dharma’ and may that ‘Dharma’ protect you from yourself!

• When you love your job your work itself becomes your return. You don't lose your peace of mind counting pennies that it gets into your purse. 
• No person who didn't love his job ever became rich, famous or successful.

Life tip :

We know the value of things only when we lose it! We take them for granted when we have them.

When as a young person you are able to get up from the floor you don't give it a thought.

When body aches and you need support to get up, it's then you realize what a treasure it was to be able to get up without support.

Value everything that you take for granted. You never know when you'll lose them for good! Life doesn't give you a heads up before taking them away -sometimes..........

He should be lost in his job when he is on job. He shouldn’t feel hunger, thirst or any discomfort in the body as he is on job. The job should become him. Just doing the job should give ‘joy’ so unparalleled in his life that any returns should look ‘immaterial’ to him. The returns that he receives for his job should be incidental to his work. He shouldn’t though work with returns in mind. Just doing the job completes his returns. And hence he never complains of ‘less returns’ or ‘no returns’ for his job. His finesse increases over the years, his concentration on job becoming more and more and more intense; his workmanship effortless he goes on to be a reflection of ‘Excellence’ is ‘dharma’. That earned through sub-par work is ‘dharma’.

                                              

If you don’t want to be bound by your ‘karma’, then work towards excellence. When you desire to be ‘the best’, you compete with others and generate all negative emotions like envy, hatred, anger.

But when you work towards excellence without expecting results not only you enjoy your work but also heal your work but also heal your karma as you work. Your work becomes your worship!

Make work your devotion. You transcend pain and suffering that comes through expectation from your job. Your work becomes your ‘Dharma’.

Passion that you put in work makes it your love. And any work done with love is play. And when you are playing you don’t think of taking a break or vacation. Because then your job is already your play!

If you are tired of your job, need a break, complain about boss, pay etc look within and find out what is missing in that. Missing not by way of returns in job! But in the way you relate with your job.
