Today, you put my faith to test again,

And again, I failed.

Today, you popped a situation on my face

And again, I faltered in faith.

I feared.

I shook in fear.

You held out to me

I didn’t even call out to You

And yet you held me

Today, I failed you once again

And yet your hope in me kept shinning ever so bright!

Today, I failed you again.

Today, my faith in you was shaken.

My faith didn’t stand up to test and

And yet today you stood by me!
