The purpose of a rose plant is to give roses right? Why she failed to understand this simple point, I never knew.

“If I LOVE-it means I’ll take care of this plant, tend to its need protect it and give or create conclusive atmosphere for it to bloom. That’s all but just because I do this the plant can not be compelled to give roses to satisfy me or grow in a certain fashion that would be killing the right of plant to grow on its own .Love cannot demand .Love doesnot possess or own .Love doesn’t manipulate. Love doesn’t force. It just lets the object that it loves “To be” with no conditions and no exceptions”.

A tear rolled down my cheek.”If I can’t love a plant this way .How can I say I love a person in my life? Love is not for discussion .It is not a fancy object to be possessed.It is a state of existence. And state of existence can’t be owned or won .We just live it.That’s all! Nothing more  nothing less”.

She turned around and walked away I fell on the ground and cried. How long? I don’t know. But I felt happy, light and peaceful when I left her place. I may or may not be able to apply “Love” in my behavior but I certainly did experience it for once that day. 

That was worth a life! I thanked her in my heart and I left with a song on my lips ......

Me, My Guru

Today, I found her tending to her plants .She was trimming rose plants .She was doing it with such care and delicacy that I didn’t even have the heart to disturb her with my ‘usual’ “Good Morning Maam” sound. Yes, today I realized it was just a routine sound I made whenever I met her. No doubt , she hardly responded with “Good Morning” she would just smile.Today.I felt maybe even that smile denoted the redundancy of that wish which didn’t have ‘soul’ or meaning in it .She saw through it and laughed at our dreamy dead habits .She and her smile reminded us of the unnecessary rituals that we carried on and later complained of the burden of carrying them. But, I never understood. Today, I understood the gesture of her smile .She wanted us to ‘be’. Just ‘Be’ and yet……Like it had happened many times before, I did not understand it.

I missed it.

I smiled. Even to understand this small thing, her presence was require. Even without opening her mouth she had the ability to communicate. No doubt, I loved her company.

“Smiling? Found a treasure?” a question boomed through my thoughts.  I looked up and saw her looking at me.

“No nothing special”. I lied.

She turned to her trimming.  I joined her. She  watered the pot with such love .She washed the leaves with such care and then I suddenly remembered .This pot never flowered .In so many years, I had never seen it bloom .“Why are you wasting your time on this plant? It has never bloomed .Throw it .It never will”. I said.

“I love plants especially roses .So, I bought this plant. But before bringing it in my house and life , I didn’t put a condition that it’ll bloom and give me lots of roses in exchange for the care I show to this plant .So today, I can’t be angry that it doesn’t flower right?”

“But all the time and energy is wasted on this plant. Why love it when it doesn’t give

anything in return “I asked.

Mythology and myths of India and their misinterpretations

The great epics of Ramayana, Mahabharata and any mythological stories of India have to be read, understood, digested and lived from a spiritual angle to benefit from it completely .The great truths have been beautifully interwoven in the story form so that it is easily remembered, passed on from one generation to another and made it easy to be applied in one’s life simply by following the actions of the “good characters” in their epics.

  Sage vyasa after completing writing Mahabharata stated with pride "what’s not here can never be. And all that’s in the universe is found here." Such confidence and yet so true. All the modern day stories are just a fragment of either Ramayana or Mahabharata nothing else.

So, it’s not only important but also our ‘Dharma’ duty to understand and see these scriptures from spiritual angle to benefit completely from them. When we read these stories from physical level or logically understand them there seems lot of scope for misinterpretations and many Questions to be raised .In the process, these have been used to malign the Vedic philosophy which is termed as ‘Hinduism’ by all those who don’t know or understand Hinduism but when we see them under the light of ‘Spiritual Reason’ or ‘Adhyatm’ then all the contradictions just vanish.

Since “Husband” is not present we as a human soul are open to temptation and fall in the clutches of “Maya” represented by Ravana in this case and hence are separated from our husband, the divine.
3.	Sita is asked to test her purity by entering the pyre	This is widely found reason to talk vely of Rama	When the “Soul” stays in the proximity of “Ravana” Who is “demon” or temptation of this world then to return back to the divine we need to go through the purification process called as “Agni Pariksha” which is nothing but the situations of the life which we need to face with equipoise and come out of it unharmed. In short we need to reclaim our place with the divine by proving our purity (Which is called as healing of Karma.)
