IF I AM ANSWERING YOUR QUERIES, THEN WHO IS ANSWERING MINE?
God is the knowledge you acquired, God is the Guru you learn from and God is the one who teaches the Guru. (Ref. Gita Chap 10 for details) p.s. - Does God have to punish us? ARE WE NOT PUNISHING OURSELVES ENOUGH? he he he :-)
In every birth God gives us marks depending on the way we live. If we do MORE GOOD then we will be "Promoted" in our next birth or else "Demoted" in our next life.That's how he punishes us.
Where is the need to punish ourselves ? Even if we do punish ourselves then we are doing so for our PERSONAL SATISFACTION ONLY and somewhere unknowingly we are committing a mistake.
